Whats up bluelighters, I recently acquired some Methadone. I have about 25 mgs total, I have no opiate tolerance as I haven't taken opiates for about 2-3months last opiate I was taking was Hydromorphone. Iv'e heard so many mixed reviews on it that some people get high some don't? What would be a good dose to start off with? I have them in 5mg pills. Thanks in advance.
I've been on 120mg every morning of PRESCRIBED methadone for 5 years.
Like an IDIOT - I went to rehab when my doctor prescribed me adderall at the age of 29 and I felt that I was addicted after 3 months. This being from a woman that had never done a single street drug in her life. (I did smoke weed a few times in college - nothing other than). Well, I met "friends" while I was in rehab and the day I came out of rehab - I hung out with them and I tried snorting heroin. The second time, the following night, I shot heroin. Here I was an almost 30yo, married, professional, mother shooting heroin. Needless to say, that took me to my knee's. I lost my home, husband, children, job, cars, boat, summer cottage etc... within 8 months. Sold my soul to the devil for more more more... @ the end - the only thing that saved me was the fear of being placed in jail. I was arrested (thank you God) and was offered Drug Court (Rehab for 2 months and 1/2 way house living 800 miles away from my family / children for a year) if I stayed clean and completed all charges would be dropped. Thank God I was able to complete. HOWEVER, the only reason I was able to complete was because I was placed on a methadone program. I'm prescribed 120mg daily. HOWEVER... I'm now 34 and methadone is a ball and chain. I can not get off of it,.
When i lived in Maryland, I was able to earn take-homes and only had to go to the program once a month. I recently moved to Southern VA where I have to drive 1 hour EACH WAY EERY SINGLE MORNING and pay
*snip* sorry, no prices a week. I'm spending more than
*snip* a month between gas and cost. In MD it was free - the state paid for the program, I'd earned a month of take homes and it was 2 miles from my home. When I learned how expensive it was here - and what a pain in the ass it was to drive 73 miles each way at 4am (in order to be home to have my son off to school and myself to work by 8am) - I tried to detox. HAHAHA I'd rather die than EVER try that route again.
POINT BEING... I'm ramballing... it's the strongest opiate there is - don't get a habit.
