methadone vs oxycodone

Ive taken hydrocodone...oxycodone...roxycodone....and I have a pretty high tolerence. Ive never done methadone but I'm wanting to but I need more information first. I was wondering what feelings you get from methadone say 10 Mg. Is it similar to oxycodone or hydrocodone?

Oxycodone=roxi, Anyways, methadone doesn't offer the recreational results you're most likely looking for. It's good for drug maintenance, but not recreation.

I live in Boston, and work construction, I also was on methadone maintenance , had take homes because I haven't had a dirty swab in3yrs.3 weeks ago I was told I had to leave my clinic due to the change of my insurance, they don't except BC,BS which I was forced to take due to my job, I tried suboxone but it makes me UN able to eat and leaves sores under my tongue. I haven't dosed in days(methadone) and jumping back and forth between subs and heroin, I have wife kids and steady job, I don't know what to do? Someone please help

No. Of those oxycodone is in the same ballpark in terms of strength, but methadone is stronger. It is very sedative and heavy, a really strong analgesic, but not noticeably euphoric, decidedly less so than oxycodone (never had hydrocodone). It also takes a long time to come up, a good 2-4 hours, and lasts REALLY long, well into the next day, possibly over 20-30 hours - so do not redose when you don't feel it yet after an hour and a half, and be mindful of taking more tomorrow as you will still have most of your previous dose in you.

10mg methadone would be comparable to maybe 20-25mg oxycodone.
