Opioids Methadone & Trazadone ??

Hello all,

I am currently on 50mg/day methadone (Doctor prescribed). I have a bottle of trazadone (50mg pills) i got Rx'd a while ago, way before the methadone.

My question is, mixing the two dangerous at all, in any ways?

No that is not dangerous, it's quite common for doctors to give patients or residents in long term rehab Trazadone for sleep, and a vast majority of them are in the methadone maintenance programs...

such as myself, I been on methadone for 2yrs and I'm on 95, but I used to take Trazadone 50-100mg at night for sleep in rehab when I was on 130mg methadone, it was doctor prescribed, I don't see any dangers in it after all it's commonly prescribed

No not dangerous. It is a common drug combination, used in many inpatient detoxes.
