Opioids methadone to bupe

Ive been taking 5mgs or less of methadone for 2 weeks straight. with oxycodone..

I finally can get my subs again.

IF I switch to oxycodone fully for the next 2 days do yall think ill be in the clear of methadone and then wait a day after the oxy and go back on suboxone. I know ur supposed to wait till w/d sets in but its not that ez for me... I feel horrible once i wake up even if its been less than 24 hours since my last methadone dose...

so i plan on switchin to oxy's for the next 2-3 days and then wait 12-24hours and get back on suboxone.. this sound pretty good..

in the past ive done suboxone after 12 hours of oxy and had no problems...

if i do a very small amount of sub as a test dose will it still throw me into precipitated w/d?
 
i might be mirroring back what you said but i would switch to oxy for 2-3 days and then 24hrs after your last oxy dose try 1-2mg sub, you should be in the clear by then.. take another 2mg if needed(doubt you will need it from 5mg methadone tolerance, but have it handy just in case). dose up to 8mg if needed but you most likely wont need that much, but if you do get to 8mg try to taper it down to 4 or lower for maintenance, it will feel/work much better.. less is more with bupe.
