methadone to alleviate amphetamine withdrawals?

I was on methadone for three month two years back, but I am now clean, thanks partiallly to amphetamines (prescribed). I need to take a at least a week of from the adderall due to my super-high tolerance despite following numerous suggestions otherwise. BUT, I do not have downtime in my life now, and the adderall withdrawal is totally debilitating. This might be an obviously dumb question, but would fairly low doses of methadone throughout my "off" week help me or just make the fatigue worse?

It could help opiates are known for their energy boost but not in the same way as amps so I don't know how much energy you'll feel especially methadone which can make people lethargic and can get a person sweating just by making their bed. I don't know if trading an amp addiction for a opiate one is the best choice though. You'll will still not be full of energy but it most likely will help you stop being so depressed and what not.

uh, this sounds like a terrible idea, no it doesn't just sound like one, it is one. you essentially will just get hooked on the methadone again. just bear out this next week, though it might be tough, it's much easier than just spiralling into methadone addiction (again).

Please don't do this. I did something similer and wound up on opiates 24/7 - conclusion I learnt opi addiction is ALOT worse than anything!!!! What triggers your use? I blew 6 digits on opis because my addiction seriously don't!!!
