Opioids Methadone take homes

Im on methadone daily 75mg but don't get take homes. I found a bro who does get take homes and im getting some extra off of him occasionally.
My question is: is there supposed to be a seal on the bottle? There never is a seal just a child restraint lid and I'm wondering if he is taxing me. By the way im in perth western Australia. So anyone from here, do you get seals on your take home methadone bottle or just lid no seal? Am i getting ripped off? No price discussions

Even if you not from here im still interested, does your chemist/pharmacy/methadone clinic give your take home doses with or without seal?

In Uk. No seal on bottle. Pharmacist just measures doses into bottle and slaps label on side.

Hey there. I was about to close this before I realized there was some obvious HR in this question. .

In the United States, federal law via the DEA directly supervises all Methadone Maintenance programs. This means regulations are relatively uniform everywhere in the country from Alabama to Washington.

You will see some variability in little things. For instance, Alabama might not give you take homes if you use Cannabis whereas Vermont will.

Anyway, in the US a tamper-evident seal is mandated. This is in the form of what you will pull off your orange juice. This is why you can be reasonably certain Methadone bought on the street will be exactly what it says on the side of the bottle.

Has that always been true? I was getting liquid methadone take-homes 6 or 7 years ago and I don't remember seals on the bottles-- but that could easily be my failing memory. I know I was required to buy a lockbox to carry it home in. Also, they frowned on cannabis use but it didn't necessarily disqualify you. I think a lot was at your counselor's discretion, and they were generally pretty cool.

Yes in UK just in bottle take home but depends on chemist. Some do take home some do drink inside but they don't like you mingling with the public. Last chemist I was at made you feel like a lepper, you had to go outside at rear of building to an open window and queue

Thanks for all the answers! Australia health care is more similar to UK system so im guessing we get no seals on our take home bottles either (thats what my guy said too). Too bad we will never know if he really gave me 100mg.

It's not that they don't like you mixing with the public, it's to give you privacy.

When they have a room off the side of the building with a different entrance that can be done for multiple reasons including to not mix with the public like you said, this is often cause they have a lot if maintenance user's using the service and some turn up wrecked and some are so stupid they shit on their own doorstep by shoplifting from the fucking place where they get their script and this reduces that.
