Opioids Methadone & suboxone

Okay so I've been using high amounts of IV heroin, oxy, & morphine sulfate for the last 6 months(heroin & opiates for 6 years but the last 1 1/2 I've been on sub maintenance & dabbling) since I decided to quit going to my sub doctor. I have an appointment for the Methadone Maintenance Treatment program tomorrow as a basic intake for the doctor.. My last opiate use was over a week ago because I got my hands on a bunch of subs & have basically been slowing down because I know this was coming up.. Is my doctor gonna mis-diagnose/treat me for not having opiates in my system although i've been binging hard on & off subs & heroin/opiates? it's been about a week since my last shot will there still be opiates in my system or am I gonna be fucked? I still carry the track marks around from use, ugggh I'm just so unsure of what's gonna happen tomorrow.. I don't want to go to a clinic everyday if they are gonna give me some bullshit baby dose & mis-diagnose me. Anyone have expierence or knowledge towards anything bout this?

If the clinic accepts you, you should be able to titrate the dose up to the level you like. I'd recommend against doing this too much though. The clinic may have a problem with the fact that you're coming off of bupe, since they drug test for opiates and bupe does not show up as a traditional opiate or oxycodone/ etc. They'd have to test specifically for bupe. Some clinics may have a problem with this, some may not. I was able to get in just fine having been taking only bupe leading up to the appointment. I've also heard of clinics where this would not happen.
 
thats old school, having to be dirty 1st urine to be on methadone. a lot of people i know switched to methadone from suboxone. doctors know how much methadone to give to people who r on a certain dose suboxone. methadone just is benefical to people because its a full agonist and you feel that opiate blanket all the time feeling satisified, unlike suboxone a partial agonist, people take it, and they still get cravings as the suboxone wont cause euphoria after 3 days of use, it just leaves blockage in ur brain to take other opiattes,a blocker. suboxone does have negative side effects such as irritability, insomnia, headaches which people feel the risks arent worth being on the medicine, my personally im on subs, it causes anxiety but i take klonopin Rxed to battle that. i havent had cravings ever since, i stoppped heroin, it has a mild anti depressent quality.. hey methadone is the way to go to feel good everyday after the morning dose you have to get at a clinic every morning, leaving most people selling xanax bars outside the clinic to make people get a nod...i prefer suboxone..
 
If your new, the doctor will assess your story, may ask you about last usage of this and that, even ask about tracks, but bottom line, they start you at 30 with daily max dose increase of 10 mg. So you can get to 80 your first week. Our clinic doesn't have people on some of the elephant doses I've seen on the forum (200+ mg daily. Short answer, you may not get full relief, but it's much better than being sick and even allows a little sleep the first night on 30 mg. Good luck. I would push the dose as high as they wil let you, but figure out the min amount on your own. Then you have extra should you need to travel or can't get to clinic.
 
How much does it usually cost to get into a clinic and then how much per day/week/whatever after? I am subutex (22mgs/day) and I have been shooting them and I can't stop, so I figure going to a methadone clinic would save my life. I really don't want to have to go in sick (cause it takes like 2 days to get sick from this crap) or have to go score dope so I look like an addict...I got the track marks. Also, do they keep track of who is on methadone like they do with sub at the pharmacies so you can't doctor shop or go to multiple clinics? I assume because there is no pharmacy involved, no. And I ask because for personal reasons I want to keep getting the sub from my doctor, because I want to stockpile it to use it to taper eventually. I want to keep my dose relatively low because eventually I want to get back on the subutex and simply not shoot it. Answers, anyone?
 
in my area if you want to be on suboxone, but have no money you can go to a doctor who takes medicaid, but the waiting list is like LONG, very LONG. if u have money u caN see a cash suboxone doctor the day u call him *fcked up i know* SO WHAT IF WERE DISCUSSING LEGIT PRICES OF MEDICAL SERVICES? its not like street price talk. MY one cash doc was $250 first visit, then $100 and have to go once a week 3 times, then its $100 a month. $550 total to get monthly scripts, and $100 a visit
