methadone strength

I was wondering if 30mg of methadone after not taking anything for four days, before the last 4days I was taking one 60mg morphine (not the synthetic kind and I would parachute them) plus one or two 30mg IR Oxycodones. And like I said, haven't taken anything for, four days, and I'm medium build, 6'2", 175Ibs, so would 30mg of methadone get me feelin pretty good? Also ones the ratio of the strength of methadone vs stuff like oxy/percs and morphine? I hear 30mg of methadone is stronger then close to 90 or 100 mg of morphine....true or false, and like I said, what's the real ratio of methadone to other opiates?

Yes, methadone's oral BA is high and it is an highly potent opioid. So four days ago you were taking 30-60 mg of oxycodone plus 60 mg of morphine?

If so, then I think one 30 mg dose of methadone would be okay.

I would start with 20mg's.. I have around the same tolerance as you and thats what gets me a deccent buzz. Wait about an hour and a half to redose because the effects come on slow.

No don't ever redose methadone within 1 or 2 hours. If you're experienced with opioids, I'd recommend you wait at least 6-8 hours, if not a whole 24 hours is how long you should wait to redose.

No conversion chart has accurate ratios of methadone compared to other opioids. The conversion chart I use compares 4.5mg Methadone to 30mg oxycodone or either 30mg compared to 30mg. The other one I use has similar equivalent dosages. If you are taking 30-60mg of Oxycodone & 60mg Morphine (oral) I don't see any reason to go above 30mg if your looking to get "high" but not OD. Even that may be a large dose. If you want to make sure your safe then 20-25mg. Either way, you won't have to worry about OD'ing

Don't redose. Takes about 2-2.5 hours for the "full" effects to kick in. I don't recommend you redose for another 24 hours. Effects last up to 12 hours. Even more for some.
