methadone questions

I have been off heroin for a few months now but do Percocet, opana, or oxys about once a week. I tried 20mg of methadone on Sunday, again on Monday nd the same on Wednesday night. How long before I could feel the euphoric effects of the percs, ops, or oxys? Was that enough meth or was it used enough to block the opiates ? Could I get the effects gettin the opiates Friday night ?

If your last dose is on a Wednesday and was only 20 mg you *should* be able to get the full effects from the opiates on a Friday night

Are you replying as if methadone inhibits what buprenorphine does? because it doesn't.

methadone generally makes your tolerance, higher&faster than traditional opiates... as far as I know, they work together for a high.. like oxy and hydro.

Generally 24-32 hours or so after your last dose of methadone you should be able to feel the effects of other opiates fully. Even while on methadone you'll probably still feel it but it definitely won't be what you're used to so it is advisable to wait to dose on a shorter acting opiate.
