The concentration of the u.k. green liquid oral is 1mg/1ml , i have never heard of any other strengths being given out. there are injectable solutions , given very rarely (ive never personally known anyone on these) which are probably different strengths.
In the u.k. it is never prescribed for pain, so the strengths and solutions arent as different as the u.s.a.. I have heard theres 10mg/1ml solutions in other countries however but definetly not the u.k. as has been said though mdone is mdone but obviously it comes in different strength solutions like any drug
Its is prescribed for pain regularly in the uk, as it has a longer duration of analgesia than other strong opiates / opioids, and compared to these other drugs tolerance to its painkilling effects develop much more slowly, making it possibly the most useful opioid for the management of chronic pain currently licensed in the UK. There are just as many preparations available to NHS clinicians as in the USA - pain patients tend to be treated with tablets where 1mg/1ml liquid preparations (such as Physeptone) tend to be used in drug treatment, as its easier to make sure a dose has been taken properly and not diverted. And despite being rarely prescribed, we do have 10mg/1ml liquid preparations of liquid 'done, the most popular being 'Methadose' (brand name)
