Methadone + OxyContin

I'm gonna get flamed for this but here it goes (I searched the forums and found the Oxy megathread but didn't find an answer to my query),

I'm currently on 230mg of Methadone daily (MMT). I have a very high tolerance to it (I don't feel anything after taking my dose).

I picked up an OC80 and I'm thinking of ingesting orally (and not crushing it up or anything like that). Would it be dangerous to combine the 2?

Keep in mind I'm very tolerant to my dose of 230mg and I've combined my methadone with 4-5 percocets in the past (20-25mg of Oxycodone IR) with no problems.

Obviously its going to be dangerous. No doubt about it. Just because you don't feel the Methadone doesn't take away the fact that your on a massive dose and going to take a rather large dose of another potent opiate. Many people OD that way on Methadone by taking large doses of other opiates because they can't seem to get high and eventually the dose ends up being too high.

I was on MMT. I would take some off the top all the time using heroin while on it. I got lucky.

Yea I'm probably gonna hang on to it and reduce my methadone on the day that I decide to take it as I'm not really in a hurry to use (old habits die hard and I kinda regret picking it up).

Reducing your dose would be a good idea also because you'd be able to experience the OxyContin more. Your on a massive dose though. My max dose was 130mg when on MMT.

You’re not even going to feel the oxy. I was on a methadone clinic twice (not that high of a dose) but methadone over rides other opiates. I tried shoting dope while on methadone, people told me how good the dope was and I never felt it.

My girlfriend is currently on the methadone clinic here and I’ve seen her shot an 80 oc and she said she barely felt it

Talk to other people on methadone and see if they don't tell you the same thing

I would shoot 1/2 g of tar heroin and feel nothing while on 130mg of Methadone (MMT). For some reason I'd keep trying. That's how you OD. I was lucky.

I believe you, when I popped 4-5 percs while on 150mg I barely felt anything. Truth be told, I don't even know why I bothered to pick an OC 80. I guess it'll be collecting dust for a while.
