Opioids methadone overdose? Please help

I have ingested 20 mgs of methadone not knowing the ease of overdose. I use opiates semi-occasionally, the last time i dosed was 5 days ago. My average dose is 30 mgs of oxy/8 mgs diladud. I dosed about 2 1/2 hours ago and i am now pretty high. AM I risking an overdose? Please help!

If you routinely are taking 8mg of dilaudid I'd say you have nothing to worry about with 20mg of methadone. It may make you quite high for a long time (4-8 hrs approximately) but as long as you don't take any other respiratory depressants (alcohol, benzos, more opiates!) you should be fine.

IME worrying about overdose can cause panic attacks so just relax, grab a big bottle of water and enjoy the euphoria for a little while...

And I should add, I take methadone 20mg every 8 hours for last 18 months, so I am not talking out of my ass (although that would be kinda cool if physically possible)

i should add that i insulfiate the dilaudid, not iv.

Well, methadone peaks around the 3 hour mark, so if your breathing and state of mind is fine now, I think you'll be okay but really taking 20mg methadone without a tolerance is not the smartest thing to do.
