Methadone-IV

Hello fellow BL-ers!

Ive had a whole crapload of Methadone tabs here for a while (few months) and have honestly never thought about doing anything with them. They are the white rectangular ones with an "M" on one side and "5771" on the other.

Ive read a bunch of threads here saying that people DO actually IV those, but that they end up needing a pretty large injection due to the large amount of water added to the pills. My question is...with a fairly moderate tolerance (2-4mg Dilaudids IV'ed for a mild rush) and most recently, when I tried it for the 1st time....3 bags of H in one hit...about how much would I need for a decent euphoria?

I appreciate that IV'ing any pills is dangerous and has its risks...and I HAVE done a bit of research here and read a bunch of threads (lively ones at that! LOL) about IV'ing done. I'd like to give it a try...if anyone could provide some ideas on some starting points for me dose wise? I'd appreciate it.

I have been advised by many people to to inject Methadone,regardless of what anyone may say,I know a doctor that is an opiate addict and he has liquid methadone for IM injection only.Apparently Methadone is not really made to be injected IV.Just eat 40mg or so, look up what dose your pills are on RXlist or something.Methadone takes about 2 hours to reach it's full intensity orally and a bit less injected IM, but methadone will not give you the same euphoria that Diluadid or heroin will,due to its pharmodynamics, its chemical properties that is,so eat some and wait a hour and a half at least before eating more.I was prescribed methadone pills for pain for several years and I know people that tried to inject them IV anmd used a lot of water but ended up with deep vein thrombosis instead of a buzz..Chew them up with a flovered drink or soda, and just feel what they are like,much more mellow ,no rush even IM , just contentment and all that...be careful about shooting pills,methadones are one I have seen almost cause a dude to lose an arm because of trying to IV them...

You can use them sublingually too. I'd through a bit of sugar under there too, as they're pretty bitter.

In addition, plugging is possible, and still preferrable to trying to bang them.

ive heard that iv methadone will come on as fast as oral methadone. and is bad to put in your vein. its like shootin up vodka when you could drink it.

lol, yeah there is someone that actually posted saying he has tried SHOOTING vodka...I couldn't believe it...I'm as addicted to the process of shooting as the next guy but geez..vodka...?

I have shot both vodka and methadone (not at the same time) in the ignorant daze of my wasted youth. Really wouldn't recommend trying either of them IV

IV alcohol is just plain nasty and IV methadone is pointless - no rush at all and feels no different to taking it orally. Big risk for zero reward. Use them sublingually, eat them or plug them. Feels pretty much the same however you take it and it's really not all that recreational anyway. There's a reason even many junkies tend to avoid it unless they really need to take it - it's just not much fun or euphoric at all, to be honest. Will probably have you nodding and puking and feeling kinda fuzzy for a good few hours but nothing too exciting.

Yikes! IV booze!
I thought I was a madman when it came to chasing a high.

And yeah..... he's spot-on with methadone, especially it being in tab form. Even when I was semi-detoxed, methadone never got me especially high. It'd keep me from being sick and it's a great pain-killer due to it's half-life, but that's it.

Personally, whenever I came across them, I'd save 'em for a rainy day or for when my back was hurting really bad.
