Opioids Methadone IV and Heroin/Diamorphine IV Prescription

I had access to pure methadone some years back and IV'ed quite a bit of it. The rush is really strong, very warm and sedating. Lasts long too (about 1 hour or so). Eventually I reached the point where 300mg IV wouldn't do anything though. At that point I decided to stop, tried to just quit but it was unbearable and I had to taper for months.

I'd still choose the pure methadone over most street heroin if it was possible.

I will state that IV is my main MOA for Methadone. The rush is amazing - doesn't hit you before you can finish your shot like Hydromorphone, but once you're in, pushed, out, and wiping up the blood, suddenly for a good 180 seconds your whole body is just wrapped in the greatest, most delightfully warm blanket you've ever experienced. (Hydromorphone rush lasts about 35 - 40 seconds IMO.) Then I'll feel rather sober for about a half hour, and then start coming back up ala oral use at the ~2hr mark.
 
Mix abit of that with cyclizine or hydrozine and you got an even better rush. Although shooting up valoid pills is not recommended due to the binders and suchlike.
