Opioids methadone dosing

hey guys, i dont take dones too often, but theyre definitely my drug of choice hehe. my tolerance is so-so and my usual dose is 30mg but im worried bout the long half life. this week ive been takin 30mg, waiting 48hrs, then taking 30mg again. ive done this 3 times now, its been 33 hrs since my last dose of 30mg. would i be good to dose another 30mg? thx guys

some patients can be prescribed as much as 325 mg of methadone a day (According to wikipedia i.e. to those who are dependent on opiates and have a tolerance). But I'd say you should not take anymore to be on the safe side. Always err on the side of caution.

By the way I have zero experience with methadone. And I'd never recommend to anyone to take drugs, without the proper and clear understanding of the dosages. In fact I'd go as far as to say, don't do drugs at all, they're not wort it.

well im plannin on takin the 30mg in the morn if not 2nite, which would just be 48 hrs after the last dose as opposed to 36hrs. i highly doubt the extra 12 hrs wil make that big of a difference, but i guess ill just wait til then to be safe.

Why is methadone of all things your DOC...?

Anyway... obviously the longer you wait to dose the more you're going to feel it. If you continue to take methadone daily though, the doses will start to stack and it will build up in your system, causing tolerance to increase and the high to basically disappear.

dones are the best!!! anything else gets me high for 15 mins if im lucky and thats with lethal doses! i have another question, do dones block other opiates in smaler doses such as my 30mg? if so how long should i wait to take dilaudid or roxy? even if they dont block it im also worried bout the long half life of the dones and i dont EVER mix drugs.
