If my tolerance to feel 'alright' off hydrocodone is 50mg, 100+ to feel where I want to do, an OP80 has me feeling amazing, how much done should I take?
I've had it before but it was liquid so I have no clue how much I did. Got the 10mg round ones, I already took one maybe an hour ago thinking of taking one more to put myself at 20. Advise? What should my tolerance be around to methadone give or take? I also took 10mg oxycodone about an hour before the done.
 
with your tolerance, I would take 30mg and see how you feel. Methadone can take a while to kick in, so don't redose until after about 2-3 hours.

Just a word of caution. I don't know how experienced you are with Metilhadone, so I thought I would throw this out.

While Methadone is extremely strong, it just don't provide the type of high that OC has. It's much more sedating and a VERY strong CNS suppressor. Also, it takes a while for the feeling to start rolling.

So it can be deceptive for a person to think their tolerance is through the roof, and keep popping more amd more of those 10s. And THEN you suddenly realize you may be pushing it.

This happened to me. Just be careful with that stuff, it is really STRONG.

start at 20-30mg. try to be in withdrawl when you start your dose. your WD symptoms should subside around 20-30mg. they will then build your dosage from there. i wouldn't recommend going over 50mg, although the receptors are saturated fully at 70-80mg. depends on what your goals are. methadone is a bitch though - it's harder to come off of than the pills. good luck!
 
I wouldn't recommend taking methadone for recreational use. I've been prescribed to it for 4 years and it IS A LOT harder to get off then the pills , the withdrawal is a million times worse and lasts a lot longer... If you do use methadone to get off pills, you should not take too much... 25-30mg should be enough for a new patient of methadone.
