Hey guys

(please excuse my bad english, im sorry if you don't understand what I'm writing. If that is the case, please tell me and i'll specify ^_^)

As some of you may have read, i am in the middle of a methadone taper. (I have been having some side-abuse, taking too much 'done some of the days)

ANYWAYS. At the clinic they would max. give me 60 mg.

So, now i am tapering. And have tapered 2,5 mg each week. Right now i am taking 50 mg.

60 never really held me. And 50 isnt holding me either (ofc). But the doctor doesnt really care, and seems to think that i am just another drug-seeker.

So, I am wondering. Can i safely take 0,5 mg. clonazepam on top of my dose?

Or would that be dangerous?

Thank you SO much in advance, for your time and advice <3

But i have combined benzos and methadone before, and other people do that too. I realise that it is not a SAFE combination per se, but i am going to take the clonazepam, so i need to know a dose that would be KIND of safe, seeing as 50 mg is not enough for my tolerance. thanks <3

^ I have done it numerous times as well and ended up being pronounced dead on arrival from a moderate dose that I had taken daily for a good two years. Can't say that there is any safe dose based on my experiences with the two substances

Indeed. All reports I've heard from mixing methadone and benzos unless super tolerant to both substances prior to maintaince or on maintainance of both simultaneously, have ended up in hospitilization or death. Methadone is one of the most potent opiate CNS depressants out there, and mixing it with benzos is in most cases fatal. Avoid at all costs.

Wow,that's scary!

But i have a very big tolerance to lyrica. I just stopped taking them not too long ago, and have just went through withdrawal from them. Which was hard, but tolerable.

1-2 months ago, or something like that, i stopped with a month year old ''binge'' on clonazepam (alongside my 10mg sub, which i am not taking anymore due to the methadone :P)

I know that the combination can be dangerous, which is why I am asking for your objective advice. :)

I am simply asking if is definitely a lethal combo. I am not asking if it is dangerous, or if you should tell me that i shouldnt take this or that drug/medication.

..BUT ! OFC. you should tell men not to take it, if it is definitely going to kill me, at that dose.
Haha ;) So i guess it's alright!.. But i really need to know if my tolerance makes any difference ^__^
