I searched here and most threads say tramadol can kick in withdrawals in a methadone user, is this true. Anyone have first hand experience, I was gonna trade with a friend but I don't wanna send him into withdrawal.

edit-Ok so I kept searching other forums and I guess it does sorta make methadone weaker or not last as long. I never figured that tramadol would do that since it mixes so well with other opiates for me. I'm a big tramadol fan and only get methadone when I use my script up so I never noticed this before personally, wouldn't really want too.

Feel free to chime in with any personal experience because its all just forum quotes I'm going by.

I'm not too aware of how or why Tramadol would cause WD w/ Methadone (I could understand buprenorphine), but in any case - Methadone is significantly stronger than Tramadol's opiate effect is. The only effect from Tram at that point would be its SNRI sub-profile (at least the noticed effect).
