Methadone and oxy mixture

Whats up guys I had a quick question for you all. I have 10 mg of methadone that I had left over, and I normally do 20 mg of methadone to get high every once in a while when they come around. I have a decent opiate tolerance if going to take oxy to feel really good I do about 50-60 mg. I was wondering if any one mixes oxy and methadone so I would take say the 10 mg of methadone and 40 mg of oxy would that be nice? Thanks alot in advanced
 
I've never mixed the 2, but I would recommend doing half of what you normally would with both. With those amounts I dont think you have anything to worry about, I would try 20mg's of oxycodone though and wait to see how you feel, if you need more go for it.

no take tha methadone one day and the oxy another or atleast take tha oxy first then after a hour take the m. methadone makes it so when you take other pain medicines it kinda blocks tha euphoria. i hav heard. when i took methadone i took sum dilaudid and felt nothing from it besides tha methadone high. it blocks things out. just in my experiences. im not sure about it. i just know when i took 30 mgs of methadone then 12 mgs of dilaudid i didnt get high like i ussually would fropm the dilaudid
 
Well I was asking because 10mg of methadone alone is not enough for a really good buzz so I was going to try and mix it with oxy to get more out of it
 
So you think if i do 10 mg of the done and then take 20 mg of oxy i will be feeling them both?
 
you are going to fell the oxy first anyway. methadone takes quite a while to kick in.
 
id personally do the oxy, then when u fell like ur coming down pop the donut.
 
mixing oxy and methadone will not get you higher, if anything the methdone will dominate your receptors and the oxy will get you less high, methadone sucks ass.
 
these people don't all get it. you can take up to 40 MG or so of methadone and still feel other opiates. It doesn't block other opiates until you go higher with the methadone dosage. You will be fine with the Oxy and 'done.
 
10 mg of methadone is not enough by it self to get me feeling good. So If I do the 10 mg of methadone and 20 mg of oxy or 40 mg of oxy will I be more high then if I just did 20 mg of oxy?

you dont get it, even 10mg of methadone will kinda fuck with any other opiates taken after.

dude methadone doesn't get you high AT ALL if you have any kind of opiate tolerance, just rinse your sinuses with room temp water and blow your nose clear then rail the oxy for max effect, methadone in my opinion does not potinate opiates.... if 40mg of oxy is not enough to get you "feeling good" then its time to take a break for 3 days or you will just be building your tolerance up more and more...

Huh?? I know this is an old thread but dude.. methadone doesnt get you high at all if you have any opiate tolerance ?? You must have not had much experience with the drug. In form of harm reduction, unless you have a solid tolerance to opiates, Do Not Mix them. Especially if you are taking massive amounts of methadone after oxy. Probably not a good idea.

Anyways, the above poster is very wrong. Methadone is super powerful and will get you lit up like a christmas tree. Even off tiny amounts, if you dont have a tolerance do not take methadone. Plain and simple. If you do, please keep it to 10mgs at most.
 
The only time I've done something similar (added a 10mg shot of methadone a friend gave me to the 100mg of morphine I had already shot), it just reduced the euphoria slightly. That said, I've enjoyed methadone when shot up by itself, I just don't think it mixes well.
 
I created an account specifically to post in this thread.

Whoever said that methadone doesn't get you high is probably not experienced with the drug. I take about 200mg of methadone every single day, I have for years now, and it still gives me a pleasantly warm fuzzy feeling for an hour or two after the dose. It's not the total euphoria you can get from other opiates, but it's the same feeling, noticable and nice just not nearly as strong.

Incidentally, as someone mentioned, please don't mess with high dose methadone right off the bat. I'm severely disabled, my meth is prescribed legally, and I've been on pain management for so many years I can take doses that would stun an elephant and still function normally. You don't want to be where I am.
