Methadone and MXE? Please take time to read this

Is this bad news? I hope I didn't waste money. Someone told me I could possibly get SS because of my MMT but I've got quite the tolerance. For the sake of harm reduction how will this effect methoxetamine. I would like to know before I just play dumb please anyone? How would any opioid mix with MXE...???????

They will both act as sedatives, MXE shouldn't cause serotonin syndrome.

Thank you for those 2 posters for the response. I have been a bit scared to actually apply it as a nerdy friend said I could get serotonin syndrome......So all in all it will be nicer?

Serotonin syndrome will only arise when you start combining serotonin releasers, serotonin reuptake inhibitors or MAOIs that prevent serotonin from breaking down. I think the protoypical case of SS was phenelzine (MAOI) and meperidine (serotonin reuptake inhibitor) (Libby Zion).

DXM (serotonin reuptake inhibitor) and MDMA (serotonin releaser and reuptake inhibitor) is another combination that is known to cause SS.

Neither methadone nor MxE are serotonin releasers, reuptake inhibitors, or MAOI's. Serotonin syndrome is therefore not a concern unless you have very, very strange body chemistry.

Serotonin syndrome shouldn't be confused with bad trips, overdoses, adverse drug reactions, bad choices of set and setting, normal anxiogenesis from drugs that have that issue (stimulants, CB1 superagonists) etc.
