methadone 110mg and ativan safe or not i need to know asap

ive been on methadone since november and im at 110mg and im about to get 100mg of ativan and i wanna take like 20 mgs but is that safe to mix with th emethadone i need a answer fast or else imma just take it ive had a horrible day.
 
i have a average benzo habit i use to take them all the time like skittles but now i can like i take 7 mg of klonopin and smoke a bowl and i will nod
 
Consensus, 20mg of lorazepam is very irresponsible on it own and potentially lethally irresponsible with 100mg of methadone.

Mixing any amount of benzos with methadone is dangerous. 20mg of lorazepam is an insane dose. I would take a very small amount of lorazepam with the methadone or no lorazepam at all with the methadone.
 
I agree with what everyone else said. Do not take 20mg of Ativan if you are on 110mg of methadone! Even someone who was not on methadone should not be taking 20mg of Ativan. When I was on 40mg of methadone 2mg of Ativan would knock me out. I can't imagine what 20mg of Ativan + 110mg of methadone would do, it could kill you.

OP are you still there? Are you ok? You haven't posted back and I really hope you didn't just decide to take it all.
 
Cut that dose of lorazepam in half by at least 50%. Start there and then proceed onward if that works out for you. Methadone is so dangerous when mixed with benzos so be safe, and don't hesitate to call emergency services if you feel you are falling asleep in a bad way.
