I did a hot wash with acetone I put my meth in the pipe melt it and it doesn't set again what have I done wrong? Can it b fixed?

What's up bro.. I do acetone rinses all the time... However, I slam it every time. I haven't smoked in years... Few questions... Was this your first time?
Did you crush the dope as fine as you could before rinsing?
Did you allow it to dry all the fuckin way?
