Hi everyone, I'm new here so I'm not sure if I'm posting this in the correct forum.

I've been an on and off meth user for years, as in on for a night and then off for 3 years (mainly because I couldn't find a consistent dealer). Recently my girlfriend has been out of town and I've met some girls who have a great dealer and are fun to hang around and get high with. It started off as 3 day binges on the weekends.

This week I'm on my sixth day of taking about a point a day (shooting up). I've been eating and sleeping and I feel fine, I'm on antidepressants and benzos etc. I know people are going to tell me this is the road to hell etc etc but when my girlfriend comes back I will definitely stop and do it once a month (we've discussed this) (we live together and i'm terribly messy and a bad liar so i wouldn't be able to hide it, not that I would want to).
I'm just wondering, is a week or two long enough to have withdrawal symptoms? And how bad will the comedown be? Like, how many days should I plan on taking off from uni haha.

I heard that the comedown from injecting is easier to cope with than from smoking.

Thanks for reading and thanks in advance for your help.

Meth has a comedown no withdrawl Corning from someone who was first a speed junkie and later in life an herion addict stim comdowns make u feel like shit for a couple days opiate addictions ruins whole lifes

Onto day 7 and i feel super! not looking forward to the comedown though, i'll take a couple of days off uni and i've got xanax, valium, codeine, melatonin and lot's of vitamis. I'll be good.

Amphetamine comedowns are not pleasant, but it is not withdrawal. In fact, I really do not believe there is a true amphetamine withdrawal syndrome in the sense some other drugs have them. However, that is not to say it won't feel shitty - amphetamine comedowns usually do when large doses are used or when breaks are not taken, like during a binge. But, it will be a couple days at most of being very, very tired and fatigued, likely somewhat subjectively depressed, maybe irritable, maybe quite hungry, and then it should start fading away, and fairly rapidly considering the details of your particular case. Be careful with mixing benzodiazepines (like Xanax and Valium) with opiates (like codeine), especially when you might not be very alert or focused, napping frequently, forgetting the time - really, do be careful; keep a journal, if you could. It won't be as bad as you think it will, either, I can almost guarantee you.
