meth smoking

hello!
I wonder if when smoking meth you should or shouln't take down the smoke! a friend told me that I should keep it in my mouth and let it out through the nose but as it was my first time smoking it I inhaled it sometimes and then my lungs hurt a lot for the next day or two!

could it be 'cause of the cigarettes?

If you smoked more cigarettes that day than usual, or if smoking is a rare thing for you, it could be the cigarettes.

It could be the meth vapour also, possibly due to heat shock. We can only guess at this point.
