My friend did a little partying a few days ago. She smoked like 2 baby bowls of meth. She is not a habitual user so it really rang her up. She has only used once before.
She was up 2 days and didnt eat much for 3 days. Its been 4 days since she used. She has slept good the past 2 nights and ate a shit ton of food today.
My friend is prone to anxiety and depression. She regularly takes zoloft prescribed by her doctor. Since the second bowl she has had anxiety non stop. Severe anxiety. Panic attacks, meltdowns etc.
She hasn't used in 4 days and has been poking smot to ease the anxiety but isnt helping much.
How long will this anxiety last?
Could there be permanent effects since she has chronic anxiety/depression/panic attacks even when shes sober?
Its a normal thing but its never been this bad. She has been getting anxiety to the point of vomiting.
How long and when should we worry?
(4 days since use, still having problems)

Thanks bluelighters!

Mod please send to correct thread it wouldnt let me post in other drugs

The Pot could be making matters worse! What is she stressed about? Is there no way you can take a few days off together, maybe change the surroundings your in. Get her busy on something constructive (or mundane just something to get her focused on something). IF she is already prone to anxiety and depression then this may have triggered an episode and may take more than a few days to get over.

Its possible ur friend got a bad batch this time around or maybe her body still hadn't fully recovered. She most likely got something that was laced. That happened to me and I thought I was gonna die. She needs to take a break for at least a week for her body to recover. Breaks are what makes the high fun.

She has chronic anxiety. Not situational. She has anxiety with or without stress.
Were not habitual users and we wont be doing this shit again thats for sure!
I made sure she walked and stayed busy today. She says it helped a little. Our surroundings are chill we like our little apartment so no worries or drama there. I figured the meth triggered the anxiety. My question is how long will it last and could it be permanent since her brain is wired for these issues anyways and has a long history of it?

Ummm I did it too and was fine. Happy high spun no issues with comedown so I dont think the batch was bad......I have also used quite a bit before not my first rodeo lol
Im worried her brain had a chemical freakout. Shell come out of it right?

Maybe I should rephrase lol
Is it possible to have permanent effects from smoking a very small amout? Would it be increased by having a prior mental condition?

Just from seeing users, you can see, Long term effects are permanent but what your friend did wouldn't be unless there was something really fucked up in it. Tell her to pop a xanax and sleep off the lack of brain chems. I have zero education in any medical or psychological field.
