hi,
So iam hoping to get my hands on some meth for the first time tonight, one of my close freinds is keen to try it aswell but he's a Psychotic Schizophrenic...iam thinking its porbably not the smartest idea to share with him but what are your guys thought's? also any tips or advise for a first time tweaker?

No, it's probably not a good idea to share meth with a schizophrenic. One theory suggests that schizophrenics have naturally high levels of dopamine. Meth causes a massive release of dopamine which could have some bad results for schizophrenics.

Thanks for clearing that up, ive been searching online all morning for some sort of ansewer

You seriously have to ask if it's a good idea to give drugs to a schizophrenic? Wow. I would suggest not reproducing.

geez thanks for the smart ass remark, i have no idea about the condition. no need to be an asshole about it.

That's pretty scary when you really think about it. No offense. But, anything can happen...what if he/she flips out on you, what would you do? Meth especially for the first time will have you spinning out. I threw up the first time I tried, and didn't eat or sleep for 3 days straight. Definitely not a good idea, you can get seriously hurt.

lol. Very bad idea. Meth use can induce schizophreniform-like symptoms. No psychedelics, no stimulants, probably the only class of drugs he could use with some degree of safety is depressants like opiates and benzos. Even then I'm not 100% sure...

The chemical nature of a Schizophrenic brain is different in the manner the brain handles dopamine, a neurotransmitter. As a result, excessive amounts of dopamine is released which is believed to be the main cause of the illness.

Controlling dopamine and dopamine receptors is essential for the treatment of schizophrenia and Methamphetamine causes the users brain to release higher levels of dopamine then usual, if your friend was to take Methamphetamine not only would they be stunting any treatment, they are currently receiving they would also strengthen the progression of the illness.

So my advise would be to not give this drug to your friend.

i love the fact that the only important point picked up on was to 'not try meth if you have a pre-existing health condition'.

So, you don't have anything wrong with you ? ok you are right to go with Methamphetamine train...

Give it half a year of tweaking and you will have a legitimate mental health condition - then come back here and we will advise you not to take meth.

That way everyone stays safe! :)

I am going to tell you straight up.. dont give it to your buddy

you shouldnt take it either.. go cop some opiates or something man... Meth is a shitass high all it does is make you go fucking crazy and look like a bums nutsack.

once will turn into twice, twice will turn into a lifelong struggle with hellshards.

anyone who knows anything about meth and still desires to try it (street meth at least) needs to go get a cat scan.

You get a pretty nice buzz and a nice euphoria for about 2 hours or so... then you are up for 3 days straight (not feeling high), going crazy looking out the windows thinking spiderman is in your bushes plotting a conspiracy with local police to impregnate your woman with a demon seed (personal experience lol)

dont touch it

If you want a buzz get some pharm amphetamines like adderral or something... dont fuck with a substance that was made in some trailor park using god knows what to cut and form it.

bad idea

Yeah, what HydroBliss said.

I didn't quite elaborate on the fact that i think YOU should avoid taking the meth aswell.

++ 1 on the Go the opiate route if you have to... because for all the trouble they will get you in, it won't be a quarter as bad as if you decide to go and get addicted to Meth.

OP, my thoughts are that I sincerely hope you aren't yet a "first time tweaker" and decide that getting high isnt worth being dangerously and life-threateningly low

thanks to Crepsirezzell, best reply. Did end up doing it myself, loved every minute of it. I didnt end up giving any to my mate i already had a bad feeling about it before i asked the question. I can definitely see how people get hooked my last hit was on sunday morning and all i thought about all arvo was getting more. but i did resist the urge...dont think i'll be trying this one again for at least 6 weeks.

That's like asking if you should give a gun and liquor to the convicted felon who just did 10 years for getting drunk and robbing a bank at gunpoint. Do you seriously have to ask us this? Does nobody have common sense/think for themselves anymore?

lol, nah not really as i said in my original post i didnt think it would the smartest idea... but i knew someone here would reply with a proper ansewer...such as Sweet P and Crepsirezzell.

The too much dopamine = schizophrenia theory is too simplistic. Some schizophrenics can handle dopaminergics like methylphenidate etc. Ask him if he has any other experience with stimulant-like drugs--he might be able to take the methamphetamine.

Note that I'm not condoning giving methamphetamine to your friends but rather trying to give an accurate/honest answer to your question.
