(meth) Phlegm Problem after Smoking Meth, Please help!

So I have a problem with phlegm after I smoke meth (no redose, just one long sesh huffing a point or less and that's it). I brush my teeth straight after, drink heaps of water and all that.. but for some reason, after about 2 hours I get this thick phlegm buildup at the back of my throat, right where my gag reflex is located. Meaning if I don't cough it up forcefully and regularly, then I start gagging and dry heaving (never thrown up but close!). Once I get that gunk out its fine - it takes ages though I mean hours of constant thick phlegm building up. But if I am entranced by some porn scene or something for like all day, I'd suddenly gag like fuck and have to hug the toilet bowl and cough like Walter White season 1. So what can I do about this?? Should I try and get some sort of expectorant or equivalent from the chemist to break this shit down and make my weekends a bit more enjoyable? It happens about every time now and it's really annoying. Gagging and coughing really hurts my high. 8(
 
Drancer, sorry if this is obvious, but have you tried smoking with a bong (water filtered thing)?

Nah, I don't like it, and would it make that much of a difference anyway? I feel half the vapour is lost passing thru the bong and no way in hell am I going to drink that water/cordial/sprite (whatever takes the chicks fancy at the time cause lets face it, its the chicks that love this yea lmao) afterwards.

I got something like that the other day (fluimucil) and it seems to help a LITTLE, I am trying a different batch of gear tomorrow so let's see how this goes!
 
Can I just clarify, would using a bong actually help reduce phlegm?? It seems a good % of the gear is trapped in the water, so isn't that a bit of a waste? I still have this phlegm issue, best thing I do right now is snort some water afterwards - sounds strange but it flushes out the sinuses where a lot of the thick phlegm hides, and moistens the mucous membranes at the same time. Everything dries up, I find I even have to use eye drops as I get dry eye from it too lol.
 
It seems to just be coagulated saliva shit caused by dry mouth. Possibly with some of the meth vapours that stuck to your throat/mouth mixed in. There is unlikely to be these mysterious impurities that melt and vaporize at the same temperature as meth, by chance, in the smoke. People always assume they exist but they would be left over in the bowl unless you really burned your product.

1. Meth vapors wouldn't stay behind in your throat. As meth is extremely water soluble, and it being in a gaseous state, it crosses mucous membranes very rapidly. However, methamphetamine is a very caustic substance and can be very irritant to any tissues, so this is likely a factor along with dehydration.

EDIT: 2. On the note of impurities, this is not true. When I used to smoke meth, I would always put my lighter over the carb, and blow all the vapor from melting the bowl down out, and if it was cut with certain things, it would leave behind a white powdery residue on the lighter. If you tried inhaling this, it would immediately choke you out. At this time the methamphetamine (in my area at least) was always highly adulterated and after smoking a few grams over a few days, I would cough up black shit out of my lungs.

Some of the vapour could dissolve in any remaining saliva and contribute to mucus sludge if it dried more. Was the meth you were smoking when coughing black shit clear crystal? And were you smoking anything else? If not I don't see how that is possible.

I am not sure what you mean about the lighter residue. Do you mean there was vapour from the initial melting of the shards into a pool in the bowl after you tossed them in?
 
With so many chemicals out there, there is bound to be a few that at least vapourise at the same temperature, e.g. Isopropylbenzylamine
Also impurities that have a lower boiling point, would vaporise first and hence people sometimes blow the first of the vapour. In the most part, I have come across product that leaves hardly any residue but that is not to say that means it is really pure.

Although a small percentage gets left in the water, for me I feel it is worth it because it keeps me from getting the phlegm as well as lessening the extent of the speed bumps I get on the back of my tongue. I'm not sure how much of that is due to impurities and how much might be due to a cooler vapour, probably depend on the product but anyway I purposely test new batches with a pipe because I can better judge it due to the harshness and taste of the impurities. And on a rainy day you can always recrystallise the bong water and smoke that.

Just my two cents. I have always been about everyone having the right to do their drugs the way they want.
 
Msn which is In some over the counter joint medication is used to re rock meth. It also leaves a white powdery film when it is smoked and blown out the pipe with your finger over the hole. It will also make your breath smell and taste like dirty feet. Also u will cough up hideous shit out your throat
 
Msm*, I believe. I didn't know it melted down with the meth, that is sick shit. Anyone know if it actually harms the lungs? It is bad for injection I believe.

I'm surprised nobody said this,& because of that I'm sure none of y'all are going to like what you hear. obviously you don't know me but this is not an opinion relative to myself, this is FACT: for some reason it has ALWAYS been and to some small extent an indicator of potency — the coughing up of phlegm. all I know is the better the shit the quicker and thicker the loogies. and I'm not talking it no ordinary loogie, not even the kind when your sick. I'm talking like a straight piece of your lung. thick as hell. I don't know why but for some reason ALWAYS has been the quicker and thicker you hack a loogie generally the more potent the go-go. Meth will always do this. some people more than others. it is totally normal. my experience with MSM it makes a clear gelatinous snot come out my nose when I barely breathe out. nothing close to phlegm. nobody I know shares this MSM thing. Bottomline: gnarly ass loogies is normal when smoking meth. something's wrong if that is not happening. NO JOKE!
 
So this is kinda weird and gross, but when I do hot rails(best way to explain it for those who don't know-heating up a glass stem and snorting ice which turns it from solid to a gas/smoke), I get this HIDEOUS sore throat with this like phlegm(flem) stuff that tastes so hideous if I try getting it out of my throat it makes me gag and throw up. The other weird thing about it is, it's like has grains or tiny chunks of something in it that gives it a horrible texture to top it off.. Like it's so bad, I dread coughing, and sometimes when it's really caked on there I have to be careful with the way I breathe because it like irritates it, then I have to gag and puke for 20 min till I can get the remains and taste of it out of my mouth. I only notice it when I start doing hot rails, but I'm open to ideas on what it could be from, or links to other posts that might help me solve my dilemma. Thank you.!(:
 
When I do Hot Rails automatically get a sore throat too but my thing is injecting it. I know the people around here that deal are cutting with MSM and my main worry is how will the MSM effect your body is how will the m_s_m affect your body or your bloodstream.
 
I just want to mention, as I read over this thread...let's look at the bigger picture - people are using meth, especially smoking it, and are concerned about their health after consuming it? I don't know but I'd say if people were worried about their health or how to make the problems that using meth has created cease....they just wouldn't use it at all. That's a for sure...guaranteed solution. Otherwise, expect your state of health to respond negatively due to consuming completely unnatural man made crap.
