Heroin Meth or subs to hold me for short break?

Hi,

I'm going to a 2 day festival with a fairly large heroin habit I need to keep quiet. I pin/smoke 10 bags of uk brown a day (Aprox 1.5g/day).

I can't take gear because of the risk sneaking in the tools needed/amount needed.

I have access to meth and subutex, which I thought would be better as I could just dose once or twice a day as needed.

I'll maybe end up doing acid, mdma and/or ket at the festi (am very used to using other drugs with opes), is there any need to worry about mixing these with subs?

What does everyone think is the best one to use and what doses?

50 - 60ml meth first thing in the morning keeps me ok till I can score if I'm having an all day mission to get gear.

Subutex I have never used for that reason so don't know what dose to go for?

Any ideas? Any reasons not to do this?

I would use what works for you. If it's methadone, pick methadone, I wouldn't try buprenorphine for the first time at a 2 day festival.

I agree with Tricomb. You obviously have experience with methadone, and know how much you need to feel well. Buprenorphine can be problematic as you need to make sure you are in withdrawal before taking it so to avoid precipitated withdrawal. Also, if your goal is just to maintain without heroin for a few days, the methadone will serve you better as it will not block the heroin when you return to it-just don't go too high above 60ml (I'm assuming it's 1mg/mL?) as you don't want to end up raising your tolerance from the methadone.

Ketamine has only very minor interactions w/ opiate receptors, so taking subs w/ them would be fine. As for the combo, I'd shoot for some Molly + subs, adding ketamine as the molly wears off. Just exercise moderation and you'll be fine.

I've had good results going back and forth between subs and heroin. I just keep the sub dose fairly low and it doesn't seem to interfere with my heroin/oxy use too much.

You mentioned doing some molly... This may be completely subjective, but since I've started taking Suboxone, I have not been able to enjoy molly. I've taken it several times and in doses up .5g with no reaction other than a slight body load and dilated pupils. Another factor may be my daily xanax dose of .5-1mg. One way or the other molly doesn't seem to do anything for me anymore. And by no means was that gear bunk, friends were rolling their ballz right off.

If u can bring methadone why can't u bring heroin?

B/c for a 2 day period you WILL need to redose, so if you're thinking about taking the methadone or Bupe before you leave and being straight for 2 days, that won't happen--u will have to bring something with u to be feeling ok the whole time.

Which brings me back to my first point, if u can bring in liquid methadone but not powdered H, then dissolve the H in water and bring it the same way u woulda done with the methadone... And then waterline(snort liquid) ur H solution, or plug it since oral syringes should be easy enough to find since you don't want to bring needles. IMO, I'd bring powdered H and put it in my rectum/ass to transport it and I'm being 100% serious...

i wouldn't want to trip on a stabilizing dose of opioid drugs i would more than likely have a bad trip

There was a thread about this, but it was closed as being old by Capt. Heroin...So yesteday and the day before i was detoxing from opiates but i had some of these new subutex, blue square waxy things, really big and taste nasty....anyway, normally if i was withdrawing and had subutex, id only need like 1 a day, cuz of its long halflife, but yesterday it was likei would start withdrawing again like 4 hours after taking the waxy crap under my tongue...anyways i got my pain med refills today, opana and dilaudid...it had only been 12 hrs since taking the last 8mg subutex, cuz i wasnty gonna be able to sleep without it. So I took 45mg nasal absorption opana ER (generic actavis) and injected 24mg of dilaudid....but it hardly did anything, but i do feel in a better mood, but thats about it. I was hoping since it seemed to be wearing off on me so quickly yesterday that 12 hrs would be enogh, but definitely not....i can try again at 24hrs, 11pm tonight, but i might just do very little to avoid withdrawal and wait till 11am tomorrow to feel pretty good on my normal meds...seems everywhere it says 24-36 hrs

So I don't know if your festival has come and gone yet but if it hasn't... All the advice on here has been really good. I have a pretty similar habit when using and access to suboxone when I'm not. I'm also quite the fan of acid, MDx's and K in the party atmosphere. I don't have much experience with using methadone for maintenance but as far as subs are concerned, you could probably take a 2-4 mg dose each day and be ok. I haven't really rolled or done much k on top of subs but based on my experience tripping, subs feel like they lessen the sensations. Could just be me or the high doses of subs i used to be on (16 - 24 mg) or the particular situations.. BTW regarding putting the h in solution, I've read that those preparations can "go bad" or at least lessen in concentration rather quickly unless something is used as a preservative..

The big thing about making a heroin solution is sustaining sterility. Ideally, you'd use bacteriostatic solution when prepping your shot mix then put it into a rubber topped medication ampule. I'd use ones for phenegren. I don't know about it really "going bad" other than if your solution separates, but it should be pretty easy to reconstitute. Anyway, that's got me through some times when I didn't have the time to dissolve, filter, and carry all the works.

Crazy..You are the only other one on here that agrees with me about meth helping opiate WD. It helps you not notice and not care! Everyone here says it would just make it worse. Which, I totally more than understand why anyone would think that. Amps on opiate WD sound like the worst idea in the world. But having tried it, I successfully went days without any dope while I was heavy into IV meth and I definitely was physically dependent to opiates. I would usually get sick within 12-16hrs. But I didn't even notice the WD. Increased body temp made my temp normal and not get cold sweats, the jitteriness made me not care/notice the RLS. Normally the major killer is no sleep while WD but didn't notice that cause I was twacked out! So no WD and I was high as shit!

Anyways, hope your festi went well. What did you end up taking?
