Above is gallery of images I took, I'm suspecting cellulitus. Missed IV shot of meth 48 hours ago, applied hot compress to affected area and red dot disappeared, to later return in full force with what I'm dealing with. It's all over from head to toe and has now moved to also affect my face, neck, eyelids, and forehead (photos omitted for identification purposes). I have little to no sensation anywhere in my body and am swollen all over. White air bubbles are forcing separation of skin and muscle tissue, and I have experienced insane muscle atrophy is both my legs and arms as if my muscle tissue is being dissolved. There is no noticeable pain, just numbness and uncomfortableness. I have over a decade of experience with IV drug use, and followed proper sterile procedures, though I did filter through cotton and not a micron filter. I've been drinking water as much as possible and have been taking ibuprofen. I also have started taking an antibiotic (doxycycline 100mg x2 day) that I keep on hand for emergencies like these. I do not have any symptoms of a fever, blood infection, or any necrosis to speak of.

Any advice or info for would help. I have no qualms with going to a hospital, and I'd like to know at what point I should start considering that option. IV meth is easily the roughest shit I have ever put in my body hands down. Don't do drugs kids.

I don't know and have never been an intravenous drug user but it's been more than a day so I thought I'd comment.

Are you taking the AB's for a specific reason? If it's just, 'it seemed like a good thing to do' just remember AB's also destroy intestinal fauna as well.

I think you should get yourself to a Doctor at least, if not a hospital. I don't know where you are so I have no idea if they'd report you or not, but in Australia emergency depts are usually fairly discreet - maybe you can find a drugs clinic that may have more experience and tolerance for what you're going through?

Good luck...

You're probably over-anxious and delusional from the meth, but I strongly recommend you go to the ER.
