dunno why that is in a UK paper, as finding meth in the uk, well it just doesn't happened really.

Yeah, isnt it like only amphetamine sulphate is sold overthere as "speed" and they would pay like $400 USD for a gram of real glass?

We have standard street speed which is amphetamine sulphate powder (not very strong.. can be as low as 1-2%).
There is also base/putty which is a much stronger form (still just amphetamine though)

Anyone else notice that they cited a US Energy Department study on meth?
I realize that meth can create some definite energy, but involving the Dept of Energy may be a leeeeeeeeetle stretch.
I love British media...sometimes they're on (quite unlike american media) but when they're off base they are way the fuck out in left field.

I saw that and womdered if it was an error - so the british media just made that up? They looked at the list of US government offices and thought "hrmm, yes, the department of energy, they would be the people to do a study on meth" ..
