Recently I've been aware that the meth that I get here has a stronger smell of the solven more then ever before. I know msm is used to cut meth, but what i'm trying to ask is what other wet solvents are possibly being used as cutting agents in the meth to make it more weight. The smell and the taste of it really annoys me to the max, its makes me cough more too at the end of a bender.

My next question is what are the long term/short term side effects of ingesting these solvents.

how do we go about giving it a wash.

Would a easy acetone wash get rid of the solvents????

Thanks in Advance

A common practise (especially among a certain demographic of dodgy cooks...I'm sure you know who I'm talking about) is to leave some or all of the solvent in the final product.

Many of these Solvents such as Toluene/Xylene are carcinogens. Not something you really want to consume. I've heard of other health risks like Heart complications of solvents but I don't know too much about the subject so perhaps someone else can elaborate.

I've come across this gear a couple of times. Not very nice stuff :S

I do believe an acetone wash would remove most commonly used solvents.

Hey man, good idea for a thread. 'Meth' or 'base' or whatever you want to call damp methamphetamine has never been prevalent in my circles in Melbourne but it seems to be prevalent just about everywhere else in Australia.

Logically to me long term frequent exposure to the solvents could not be healthy and I think this thread has a good HR purpose if it informs the users out there exactly what they are putting in their body (and not in stupid terms like "rat poison," "drain cleaner," etc.) and the effects. Also hopefully a way to remove it or supplements one could take to reverse the harm.

I encourage bluelighters to buy "ice" over 'speed', 'meth', 'base' or whatever else your dealer decides to call impure meth. We are all informed here and we all know its the same thing, so I think it is smarter and healthier to fork out for a higher quality product but that is just me.

In recognition of the fact that people are still going to buy this garbage it would definately be interesting and helpful to find out some of the shit people are putting in it.

You should definitly run an anh acetone wash if your concerned with the product being cut too much. There will be information on these forums about the process if your not up to date on it.

In the end it's just a little but more effort but allot safer.

I agree people should do an acetone wash if they are concerned about whats in their product, but a lot of people are far too lazy and if I am honest, in the years I frequently used 'speed' I never once performed an acetone wash. If I had been getting this "base" shit though I might have been more inclined to do so though.

It isn't really reasonable to expect many to go to this extra effort, maybe if some information was added to this thread about common solvent cuts and their long term consequences people would think twice before they skipped the 'tone wash or get them to just outright buy a higher quality product instead. The first step to getting people to perform acetone washes is by showing them that the shit they are currently putting in their bodies is fucking nasty.

True, but practice makes perfect. And if he gets into the habit of doing so now he may continue to do so. I always like to 'wash' product ahead of time, that way if i want to use i can. I think we are all guilty of being too hasty and consumeing what we get. But if you suspect bad solvents being added IMO 'wash' or find a new source.
