Meth and High DB Music Damage?

Mice given meth in the ``silent'' or ``white noise'' conditions went through a typical pattern of methamphetamine intoxication, characterized by repetitive movements lasting 60 to 90 minutes, then returned to a more normal state.
In contrast, mice exposed to meth and loud music rapidly became (intoxicated) and remained so for at least 2 hours
so the moral is: music keeps you high longer!!!

"When danger or pain press too nearly, they are incapable of giving any delight, and are simply terrible; but at cetain distances, and with certain modifications, they may be, and they are delightful, as we every day experience."
--Edmund Burke

I'm sure someone would be willing to volunteer themselves as human subjects for an experiment...

Hrmm.. yes, very interesting... but did you read the second part of the study? Here is a quote-
"When the mice were exposed to 'gangster rap' they proceeded to rape the female mice, steal the wallets of the white male mice, then broke into the cages of mice in another program, which was testing crack cocaine - the subjects in that cage were killed gang-land style, while all the crack was missing"

"I am not one of those weak-spirited, sappy Americans who want to be liked by all the people around them. I don't care if people hate my guts; I assume most of them do. The important question is: 'What are they in a position to do about it?'" (William S. Burroughs)

Someone took the time to mail me and call me a "FUCKIN RASIST PILE OF CRAP" (typed EXACTLY like that) ... damn kids all hopped up on ecstasy...
