Meth and adrenaline - I have heard a few times that people have been cutting their street speed (powdered meth) with adrenaline as this produces a better feeling???

Any comments, i'd be interested to see how this is done, what quantities they must use etc..

eg 1ml of adrenaline to an 8 ball or summin.
I have heard that it is a bit dangerous for IV users if it is to strong, but not iving i dont ever have to worry about that. Can anyone give any first hand experiences, or friends of friends that have tried this?

Adrenaline + amphetamines wouldn't produce a better feeling than amphetamines. It would be like taking amphetamines minus all the good effects in fact. Adrenaline is a directly acting sympathomimetic, meaning it will directly increase your BP and heart rate, amongst other things. Amphetamines are indirectly acting sympathomimetics. They increase the effects of the neurotransmitters dopamine and noradrenaline, which then increases the BP and heart rate etc. It is thought to be the effects on these neurotransmitters that also cause the recreational aspects of the amphetamine high.

It would also be very taxing on the cardiovascular system to combine the two. This really sounds like a myth to me. If it isn't a myth, then it's just crazy.8(

So babydoc your saying that adrenalin is not good to take at all? :)
Or are you saying that by cutting adrenalin with methamphet it won't be any better, in fact it would be worse due to increase bp etc????

Interesting cos ive heard a few ppl that have said they have cut gear with adrenalin and its been good... hmm

any other thoughts?

I've heard of this in Brisbane recently too. Either people claiming to have meth cut with adrenaline, or something with a fancy slang name (can't remeber what it was) that was being sold as a mix of adrenaline and meth.

I think it's based on the urban myth that adrenaline has recreational potential. Was it "Fear and Loathing in Las Vegas" (the movie) that had a scene with them getting off on adrenaline?

It's more than likely just dealers trying to hype their product by saying it's cut or mixed with adrenaline. If it actually was, it'd probably be so unpleasant you'd be asking for your money back. :)

That is exactly what I am saying. Adrenaline is not recreational, its sole purpose is for certain life-or-death medical emergencies. So next time someone tells you they had adrenaline and meth, you can confidently call them a (insert insult of your choice here.) :D

Hehehe I like that one, reminds me of other urban myths... like crystal meth and street speed are two totally diff chemicals, hehe.

*Bump*

I came across this one again today. It seems it's a pretty firm myth held by some people. The guy I met today swears that crystal meth is really a mixture of adrenaline, anti depressants and antihistamines. Apparently, the adrenaline gives you the rush, the anti depressant gives the euphoria and the anti histimines do... something (the story got a bit vague there).

I explained that adrenaline isn't recreational, and most people who've actually had adrenaline in a medical situation don't find it especially pleasant. I repeated again and again "Adrenaline is not fun."

He was absolutely not into hearing this at all, and stated that he knew all this because he cooks the gear himself. Now I'm pretty sure this was just dicksizing, but it got me thinking that what if someone as dumb as this guy actually really went and did it...

Anyway, he went on to explain how this product (the mixture of the chemicals, I suppose) lodges in your spinal fluid and can only be removed through a spinal tap. I really wish I was joking, but this was what he believed and nothing I could say would change it.

Does anyone have any suggestions for dismantling myths like this easily? I wonder if some people hang to their beliefs so strongly because they can't admit they got something wrong.

I enjoy a good spinal tap after each weekend. I can reclaim the drugs from my spinal fluids for reusing the next weekend and I don't suffer any come down whatsoever. That home tap kit was the best 20 bucks I ever spent!

the earth is round??? damn, u learn new things everyday!! ;)

also, my fav myth of all time, is you can only take acid 4 times a year, or you'll go schizo on your 5th!!
