Meth and 7oh

HI everyone! I need some insight please?

My husband and I have been actively using meth for the past 8 mths. We are both fed up with it. We want better, neither of us want to continue this cycle.

This isn't our first rodeo with getting clean- but all the past times - it was either one of us wasn't really wanting to get off- we were forced to be done- or I became pregnant.

This time tho, by the Grace of God, we both want to be done. We both want to walk away. And do this for our family. For our each other and for ourselves. We both know that we were meant for better than what this would have us settle for. Or worse where it could lead us to.

Anyway, I know the best thing to do is stay hydrated, to eat as best as possible, get as much sleep as possible, etc BUT our lives don't work that way unfortunately. We have children (plz no bashing, I beat myself up daily for this, I'm so ashamed and disgusted with myself) but we can't just sleep. Unfortunately we have ZERO friends who would help. Zero family who would step in to help us or that we even trust to help us.

A friend of my husband's mentioned that he used 7OH to get off of meth and it helped him transition. He said that he's been clean for 6+mths now..

Only issue is now he's addicted to the 7oh..so I def know to cut it off before the addiction can take place. But has anyone used 7oh to get off meth?
If so what is your insight?

IF ANYONE HAS ANY OTHER SUGGESTIONS TO DO OTHER THAN REPLACING WITH ANOTHER ADDICTIVE SUBSTANCE IM ALL EARS!! WE WOULD LOVE TO HEAR!!

we are actually in a state that sells the 7oh still. So we are wanting to grab some and begin to try when we get back. I don't want to spend the money if it's not going to work tho.

Thanks for the help.

Has this friend of your husband's that used 7OH to get off meth now continued using 7OH? Because that's not a good route either, very addictive , very quickly, plus it could be made illegal soon and then you have a new habit to replace.
Anyhow, sorry, I don't know much about quitting meth. No experience. Kratom is a less problematic alternative to using 7OH, but meth is going to have its own special itch to fill. I'm dubious about just changing one addiction without really addressing the specifics of meth. Someone else here would have much better advice than me, though.
Good luck , glad to hear you really want to quit. ♥️

I would caution against starting up a 7oh habit. I dont have any experience getting of meth; but 7-oh is expensive and after a short while has dependence that comes with a severe withdrawal. Some people seem to not get the wd as bad as others but for me it was a nightmare...I still use 7oh but only limit it to 2 consecutive days a week at most. your choice tho...

7OH is probably not bad to have for arsenal..along with kratom. You guys are obviously in the throws of a very crippling addiction..I would say stock the fuck up on whatever comfort meds and maybe just take a quarter or half of the 7OH if you need a boost out of the funk..like a psuedophedrine pill...I'm thinking along these dumbass lines because I feel either way, to avoid a full blown relapse on meth, these could suffice maybe?

Slippery slope trading one for the other, but in tough times you gotta do what you have to. Rome wasn't built in a day and neither will your sobriety - but you already know this..the important thing is you BOTH are accepting the possibilities. You can do this!

Wow! A very interesting topic that offers different perspectives, making the discussion more objective and useful.

I'd recommend NAC or NACET to help restore your dopamine system after (meth)amphetamine abuse.

Under no circumstance would I recommend 7-OH or any opioid drug, if you do get addicted to them (high chance) you'll be even further away from home than you are now.
