Hi,
For various reasons I have a friend who has been taking amphetamines for work and school. In an average week they were taking it 3 - 4 times.
Initially there was no problem. However after a week or so everytime he took it his their would cramp up and they basically could not walk.
My friends and I thought the reason for the cramping was that there was a vitamin/mineral difficiency. For 2 weeks this person took various multi vitamins suppliments. I believe they were taking the following:
2 multi vitamins, 4 anti oxidant tables, 2 heart anti oxidant tablets, 2 mixed magnesium and calcium tablets and some l-tyrosine tables.
Again the person started taking speed and a day later *bam* the cramps.
Now, I've told this person they should go see a doctor because that's not right.
Why i'm writing this is I need some advice. Can anyone please tell me what the problem could be. I'm a bit worried and I don't want anything to happen. I'm hoping someone here will be able to give me some advice and tell me first of all why it is happening and how I can stop it.
If at the least I can do I can print out this page and show it to them and say hey listen.. other people are saying this ...
Any advice will be well received.. and thanks in advance.
BTW: The person only takes the stuff by snorting it. I'm not sure how much the person is taking but there was also bruising on the bridge of the nose.

errrr... taking meth three or four times a week is NEVER going to be good for you. Expect to have this sort of reaction, if not a worse one. Sure some people do do it that often and not complain, but the majority of people would start to be feeling under the weather, regardless of how you are pre/postloading, after a week of fairly regular use.
The only tip I can offer is the one I'm sure you don't want to hear; Stop doing the meth till your body recovers. No one has to do meth, for work or school.

Im no Dr but i sometimes get cramps when ive been rolling or have been eating some whiz for a number of hours / days. I seem to stop it by drinking water with a fair bit a salt to boost my sodium levels. I think i need to do this because ive been drinking plenty of water and have low salts levels in my body, it always seems to work , whether or not its a placebo i wouldnt know. But 3 -4 times a week is a lot for your body to get thru , Hope it helps

There was a period of about 3-4 weeks when the meth that we were taking would cause painful and uncomfortable stomach cramps... Nothing seemed to help, drinking milk, or eating, etc.
We refrained from taking meth for a few weeks, and I havn't had the cramps since. I think perhaps after prolonged use it (meth) can cause a little havoc to your stomach, best tip I can give is to rest up some...
