Meth/Amphetamine BLOOD Test

After having searched the web and having searched the bluelight site, I still can't find the information I am looking for.
I have found a ton of info on how long Amphetamines, Methamphetamines and various ring substitutes will show up on urine tests. However, I am coming into a situation where I need to know how long these will be detected in a BLOOD TEST.
Beyond taking in lots of water to try to cleanse the system, and possibly some anti-oxidants to help out, is there anything that can be done to help the excretion?
Does anyone have any info how long after use can these be detected in the blood system (on average, obviously it will depend on the person).

24 to 48 hours tops, as in blood they actually test for the drug and not metabolites (I *believe* this is right, might not be) ..
Why are you being tested? Blood is not a common medium for drug testing - and if you're just having blood work done, they will NOT test for drugs!

The test is being done before I can be shipped overseas to work for a very large multinational corporation. Those bastards. I have just been instructed that Drug tests will be done two days prior to the time of departure. I know they will be taking urine and blood. I cannot say for sure that they will test that blood for drugs, but I have reason to believe that (some inside advice).
At any rate, I would like to minimize the risks!
Would false positives work for this as well?
Which false positives? Just the regular ones for Amphetamine/Methamphetamine? Or is it different since they may not be testing for metabolites.?

I assume that you have already stopped using all drugs as of the time of your posting.... so, as long as you have another day or so, you're cool... false positives are a lot harder via blood as they are actually testing for the drug itself.. if you're only worried about amphetamines by now you should be cool...
