Stimulants meth aches?

i was just wondering why meth causes me to get all these aches and pains? it feels like every joint in my body's aged a few hundred years; the bones in my face hurt as if i've been clenching my jaw for days, but as far as i can tell i'm not.

my wrists also burn like a motherfucker - it feels kind of like acid, which sometimes allows my passive or dormant injuries to be more pronounced (i think i have some form of carpal tunnel which i can really feel when i'm on cid/speed)

i guess what i'm basically hoping to hear is that this isn't actually my body disintegrating, but it wouldn't surprise me if it was (not that i do much meth, maybe a point or two a week)

Because it causes CNS stimulation, so your muscles are tense. You are also probably sitting/moving rigidly (due to the physical stimulation of meth), and probably aren't stretching enough to counteract this.

Hey meth is bad for you. O yea what he said ^^ but yea meth is one nasty chemical, obviously those are just some signs to show for it. Loss of dopamine producing neurons is another and thats permanent.

If you manage not to abuse methamphetamine, it can be an enjoyable experience.

yeah, i don't really make frequent use of meth. last week i stayed up for 3 days on the stuff, but even then, i managed to do that by only smoking two or three points. i'm trying to steer clear of any permanent damage.

Whenever I am on speed It's impossible to relax my leg muscles. I'll wear myself out from just sitting in place. I tend to only realize it sporadically while I'm high, but later on I definitely feel it, the soreness you're talking about that is.

for me the aches arent nearly as bad as the sensitivity i get in my teeth.. i cant eat anything solid after a few days of bingeing on the shit.. just soup and bananas
Meth makes me feel like what i imagine a 90 year old feels like, with the acheing and the lethargy between doses and all..

Just comes with the territory. I'm lucky that my opiate tolerance is pretty low but I always try to have a few hydros or oxy for the comedown. And a benzo is nice to. Meth is alot of fun, but if ya want to dance you're gonna have to pay the piper.
