^i love gojira. They put on a killer show, I saw them at Mr Smalls Cathedral with some heavier death/tech death metal bands and they had the most violent mosh pit of the night. It eventually consumed the whole fucking crowd....pure chaos....

Ya I'm not sure what mental metal you are referring to? I would think Periphery may fall in this genre if there is such a thing, but they are definitely prog metal:



Or how about older TDEP? Their songs can really get inside your head...

I don't mind a mashup of threads, but posting videos directly into a thread; how far to we have to scroll?
Sorry to complain, but I for one tend to like a certain persons taste in music; I'm not gonna wade through 42 pages of youtube squares to reach a track.
Please post your favorite videos into youtube, post the link that you like, we'll subscribe.
We really don't need to be spoon fed youtube, at least I don't. Fair game though, if you like it/ can't press a link/ can't type into a youtube search; good luck.
I don't want to rub anyone up the wrong way, but these long threads aren't worth the bother.
