i know i should but just cant beat deicide when in that kind of mood

You know Vital Remains also has Glen Benton from Deicide? (vocalist)?

Good band for that mood.

Not sure I can think of that many death metal bands just like Deicide though, mainly the vocals being so different.

Branching out a bit, I find a lot more I don't like than that which I do...

You just need to know where to look.

Go to the Encyclopedia Metallum website and type in your genre of choice in the categories section or just type in bands you like and click on "bands like this artist" and see what pops up.

There's lots of great shit in so many genres no one ever hears about.

Here ya go:

The Berzerker: Pure Australian Industrial Grindcore.

I remember listening to this shit while doing coke in my senior year of college:

And of course a cover of Carcass's "Corporeal Jigasaw Quandary (IF YOU DON"T LISTEN TO CARCASS YOUR METAL EDUCATION IS SERIOUSLY INCOMPLETE!!) http://youtu.be/_476jL2FWpY

hey man thanks keep em coming! I'll download all this stuff when I have a better connection hopefully in a few months.
and yes of course I like carcass esp heartwork
