My best & most loved Sludge band I've ever heard, yeah you have Sludge bands that are more darker but Dope Throne have that special tone to the guitar & their riffs are just crushing. I've only heard them live once but that was enough, this is what Sludge should sound like



 
Going way back tonight to being a teenager when this came out.
Old Skool death classic, to be in a small group of 3 of us at school that loved this stuff.....kids these days know fuck all.

 
Powerviolence & Sludge imho are some of the best metal styles ever. Apartment 213 are my most loved PV band but Manhunt & Sex Prisoner come a very close 2nd. I'll never forget when my ex first heard Sex Prisoner & she said "It sounds like the revenge of a sex prisoner on the person that took them" Never has Power Violence been wrapped up better in my view.



 
Some BL poster called Sprout called this amazing band up on a thread I was reading, one of the best Grind bands ever imho.
