"Mescaline" that isn't mescaline

There's been some stuff going around that people are calling mescaline, but I weighed a capsule of it the other day and it weighed maybe 50mg max, so there's no way this can be mescaline (as one capsule makes you trip like 200mg of mescaline). I doubt it's any of the 2C's, since the people who have this know what 2C's are and deal with those openly as well. Any idea what this might be? 50mg suggests it might be NBOMe-Mescaline or something. Has anyone else come across this?
 
Call the dude out and ask him. if he sells 2c's maybe he'll tell you. All sorts of rc's could fit your discription.
 
this is gonna get closed. we cant speculate. could be a hell of a lot of things.
 
Just because the people that have these unidentified capsules know about 2C's does not mean it isn't actually one of the 2C's. There is a good chance they are misrepresenting 2C as mescaline because mescaline is easier to sell than random 2C's. It could be any of the 2C's such as 2C-C which is active around 50 mg, or any of the other 2C's mixed with filler to make it a bigger capsule. All we know is it is not mescaline or ny other chemical that is not very effective at 50 mg.

I'd confront the person about it by simply asking them, "Which mescaline analog is this?"

If they suggest it isn't an analog but is actually mescaline simply mention that it can't be mescaline because there is only 50 mg in the capsule and it would require multiple 50 mg capsules of mescaline to get much of a trip and you are really interested in finding out what mescaline analog it actually is.

It's a shame that people are misrepresenting other chems as mescaline. They should at least sell it as a "mescaline analog" and if people are interested in which mescaline analog it is they could give more details.

Good luck with finding out your mystery chem, but it could be anything that is effective under 50 mg, and most likely a 2C if it is similar to mescaline.
 
We don't allow ID threads here. There are dozens of chemicals it could be, and there's nothing any of us can really do but guess. If you can't get reliable information from the source, your best bet would be reagent testing, although figuring out which mystery psychedelic you have through reagents is no small feat.

I don't know why you think they're not 2Cs just because the suppliers also deal with 2Cs. If they're selling it as mesc and it's not, then clearly they're either not too well-informed about their own product, or they have no issue lying to their customers.
