Toast to the Spirits
Bluelighter
I have tried MDMA many many times. One day I tried mescaline that we got from a local cactus in my friends yard. We each ate less than a foots worth. The experience I had from it was mild, but very therapeutic both psychologically and physically. The cactus showed me that I needed to quit smoking tobacco and it encouraged me to cut down my pot habit. It relieved stress buildups in my body and mind. After the experience I had a true connection with nature and saw how bizarre the current world is in regards to humanity and our relationship with mother nature. During the experience I felt waves of euphoria and a body high that resembled very closely to MDMA, except this was a real feeling, clean and pure, not just some chemical thing that MDMA does. I realized that the effects I experienced from the cactus were exactly what I was trying to achieve in my MDMA use all along. I mean in a spiritual and healing sense, not in the sense of taking drugs just to get high. I know that mescaline and MDMA are both phenethylamines, but with the cactus, there is a strong sense of being connected with nature, a guiltless experience. It goes beyond chemical identification. I can honestly say that I do not desire to ever do MDMA again, other than possibly just to feel good and have a good time in the distant future, or maybe to supplement other psychedelics. Cactus is the way to go. It has all of the benefits of MDMA, plus more and as long as its taken for the right reasons and in a responsible setting, I can't imagine it being negative in any way.
