Mescaline or Mescaline-like compound?

Hi,
I have recently just come back from a festival where one of my friends aquired something he called TNT or TN2 or 2N2 or something that sounded like that when he said it. apparently it's a synthetic analogue of mescaline. but he couldn't take me to the person who knew more about it.

CAN ANYONE TELL ME WHAT IT MIGHT BE. he took 50mg's for mild effects. If the information I gave isn't enough could anyone let me know aboout any other mescaline-like analogues because I am looking for a more practical way to have a mescaline like experience. :D

There are almost no substances which give an experience identical to mescaline, though there are many which are mescaline like. These can be found in the book PIHKAL by Sasha Shulgin.
