Mescaline no no's

I asked a similar question earlier, but regarding a different chemical, LSD; and I was going to just tack this on to that thread, but it's been buried, and I wasn't sure it would be seen.


Are there any medications, or foods to avoid before tripping on Mescaline? I am currently on Lithium Carbonate, and I know it can mess with a few things.

Yes, absolutely do not take mescaline whilst on Lithium. Please read this sticky thread (which can be found at the top of the psychedelic Drugs forum posts) for any further combos. It lists known dangerous and potentially unsafe drug/food combinations involving psychedelic drugs. Please note: this list is not exhaustive, and there may be dangerous combos which are not yet included on the list.

Yeah, generally speaking lithium+psychedelics=fail. Looked pretty deeply into it a while back for a friend & couldn't really find any evidence of a positive experience. Plenty of bad ones though. I'm gonna close this thread cause this is covered elsewhere, but if you have more questions please consult the dangerous combos thread, the b&d mescaline thread, or the medication interactions thread.
