Mescaline Brownies?

So i was wondering if you could make brownies or some other kind of tasty treat with boiled down san pedro juice. because quite frankly that shit is very very nasty
 
San Pedro is the worst thing I've ever tasted; to be honest anything that extends the consuming process is a bad idea, for me at any rate. I'd be impressed and amazed if creation of a tasty mescaline treat is possible! The only answer I have is bombs: massive bombs swallowed in a tide of orange juice as quickly as possible. Yum yum.
 
I rather enjoy the taste of San Pedro tea... as long as it's not blended into a snotty consistency.

It's far more palatable than ayahuasca or mimosahuasca, that's for sure.
 
Do be honest I've always found trying to make it taste "nicer" with anything makes it taste even fucking worse. I remember adding "lemon" juice to it once - jesus wept. I was gipping the moment I smelled it.
 
Haha I once had the glorious idea to mix san pedro powder into yoghurt. When the first spoonful hit my tongue the decision to switch to extractions was made.
I believe the taste can't be made nicer, the only option is to accept it. Or to reduce contact time between mouth and cactus material. Binding the tea with gelatin worked great, that way you can gulp it down in one piece and the taste doesn't linger so long.
 
I made cactus muffins once lol....vegan appe-cinnamon muffins with whole ground sp green flesh in them. Lol, not as bad of a taste as I'd planned. I brought it to college and ate it at lunch :-)

I believe mine had 20g of ground flesh per muffin lol, very potent. Near 250mg mescaline I'd say...

Really though meditation with the cactus and learning to accept the taste is the way to go. My best exps have been drinking pure unadultered cactus sudge :-) I find a significant decrease I potency if I'm nt eating the cactus itself.
 
reduce the boiled down juice until its a putty and roll it into pellets and swallow them with a drink, solves tasting the cactus for too long
 
Usually trying to "mix it with ice cream for a pleasant flavour" just leaves you with something twice the volume that tastes just as shit.
 
Cactus taste is nothing compared to ayahuasca! But it sucks for sure, I agree: the less contact with ur mouth the better.
 
I dunno, that moment when you have to bite off a long trail of cactus snot from your chin to the glass is guaranteed to make pretty much anyone hurl their guts up the wall.

It tastes good. Like a bitter green pepper...anyone ever have a Indian bittermelon...? Lol, it tastes similar. I like earthy weird tastes though :-) understandable that most wouldn't enjoy the intensity. Life to me is a pallte of flavors, each enjoyable for what it is, its own peculiarity or its own sweet greatness...I would eat San Pedro every now and then if it wasn't psychoactive...as much as a sweet fruit? No way :-)

I feel like the texture is more of an issue. It just makes me chuckle how gooy it is, but one of those 'picky texture eaters' kids woiud probably puke lol.

The one time I did a traditional infusion preparation was def the most smooth to the pallete. Boil, strain, evap/condense. I always just stir straight green powder flesh nto water and go to town. But then I'm a raw-food vegan, so crazy green drinks are no new territory fr me lol...the snottiness is unique to what I've consumed, but I don't mind it, its kinda funny to me when I think of consuming a bowl of snot as a means of transcendent healing...to each their own. My2¢: embrace to goopiness and be one with the sacred cacti...! ;)

I didn't find aya too bad, at least it was quick. Finishing cactus, unless you extract it, always seems like a huge mission.
 
I tried plugging a length of raw cactus, word of advice, remove the spikes first :)
 
Well, I know extracting it would reduce the amount of it and all, but wouldn't baking it into brownies destroy the mescaline? If I remember correctly, the temperature mescaline starts to degrade is ~350-60F. I don't know how hot you need the oven to make brownies though, I've always had someone else make them for me :!

It begins degrading at around 250°! Maybe 200° ? ;) if you can not swallow her bitter little pill...hehe never mind, try making margaritas, or seriously with apple wine the stuff makes amazing BBQ Sauce..!



carefully dehydrate it party way, 150 for one hour, then simmer in water and strain down to avoid the snot-bubble-stuff.

QFT. If anything, I'd suggest getting nasty tasting extractions into as pure a form as possible (ideally down to a small enough volume to take in a reasonable number of gelcaps), then having some pleasant tasting drink on hand to help wash it down. If you must use a food, at least keep the food separate from the purified extract until the last second, so you don't lose your extracted dose if and when you determine the food idea isn't making it any more pleasant.

In my experience, any decent dose of cactus extract will almost certainly involve vomiting in the first couple hours (mesc itself makes a lot of people 'purge' early in the trip, and the other cactus alkaloids in the extract probably don't help), so I find it hard to imagine that any method of taking food along with the dose would make the experience more pleasant overall.
 
And what about chewing the raw plant material fresh from the ground, no drying, no reducing, no nothing? I never tried mescaline in any form, so I have no idea what I'm talking about. But I have chewed on fresh amanitas and poppy pods. I have also puked from the former, but it certainly added alot of mystique to the whole thing.

Edit- I know, I know, "30 cms of cacti is way to much" But I have eaten 30grams of amanita shrooms in one sitting, so I don't know, maybe? This is a stupid idea.
