Mercer Co., PA - Heroin Deaths

My friend at one of the colleges in Mercer county PA said that the campus police forwarded an email to students to watch out for 'ultra-pure' heroin. It has caused several fatalities over the last few days. I imagine it's cut with fent or a similar analogue.

Thank goodness I dont use heroin. I cant imagine when you go & buy it not knowing if this will be your last day on earth from using a batch, what a way to live.
 
There's an elegant solution to this. Weigh out 10 mg of your powder, shoot that, and if its 100% pure you're set, if not then measure up another dose.

eyeballing powders of any kind is way too dangerous.

Not quite. Fentanyl is 25 times stronger than heroin so there is no guarantee 10mg of unknown powder is going to be safe.

Good advice about not eyeballing powders in general, but when dealing with street heroin what it's made of is going to be a bigger factor than the mass dosed.
 
If you were to reach junkie status, would you really care about testing a small amount of it? I imagine that that would be unlikely in most cases.

What is this supposed to mean? That everyone who shoots heroin doesn't care about their life, well-being and safety?
 
I don't think he means that they don't care about their life, but in my experience, it's fairly uncommon for users to do a really amount to test a new batch. I mean, sometimes I'll do 3-4 bags at a time, but when I get a new batch, I always do 2 at once unless someone else I'm with tells me it's a weak batch. So I think he's just saying that most people aren't going to do an extremely small amount like 10mg as a test. I think most people will do at least .1 or 1 bag at once as a test, which can kill if it's ultra pure or contains fentanyl that wasn't cut properly.

this is an ideal situation.

I guarantee you it won't be 100% pure unless it's European pharm grade or something.

(10mg is such a tiny amount; dissolves in like a couple of microliters)


(there's also something to be said for hiring your own private cartel. Rick Ross did)
 
Yeah true ^^^ Fentanyl doses IV are often in hospitals 25mcg or so, thats micrograms being 1 microgram is 1/1,000,000 th of a gram..so 25 mcg is 25 millionths of a gram..so a mg of Fentanyl is a hell of a lot more than a gram of pure heroin..

Everyone who's addicted, yes.

If they cared about their safety and well-being, they would have never touched it in the first place.

You think Heroin junkies are spending their money on miligram scales and carrying it around everytime they get some dope? I don't think thats a fair assumption. Fentanyl is just way too powerful.
 
When I was really addicted to heroin and me and my other boys would wake up sick every morning then call each other, get our money together and go cop we would all shoot up in the car with as many bags as we could afford.

True heroin addiction can really make irrational thoughts seem mundane.
