Misc mephedrone?

was wondering how safe it would be to snort it after chlorinated water touched it...very expensive (i.e. $X)

Probably just as safe as snorting 4-mmc on its own is, which probably isn't safe at all.

Try not using it, or take it orally if you must. I would prefer never to use it.

There are threads in existence about mephedrone that you could have posted this in.
 
i wanted to post this in a mephedrone thread, but alot of them are old and dead. just a bit worried that the chlorine might bond, some how, im no chemist, with some of the chemicals in mephedrone and maybe become different? or would the chlorine be so minimal that it would not even pose a problem at all, the amount of water wasnt too much, less than 30 ml, but was from a clorinated water park. the amount of mephedrone was a bit less than half a gram
 
It would probably be fine. From the analysis of samples I've seen most mephedrone samples are present as salts anyway, and from what I can remember of chemistry there shouldn't be much if any reaction... maybe some degradation?
 
It would definitely make the powder more acidic, so careful shooting or sniffing it as it just might eat through everything it touches.

If you have some pH strips, put a small amount in DISTILLED WATER (important) and test the pH. If it's any lower than 3 or 4, it will BURN like HELL!! So basify it some with baking soda for example, heat in a spoon, vial, w/e, to speed up the process. A good pH should be around 4-5. That won't burn at all (or ever so slightly if your veins are in poor condition).

Good advice!

Testing for IV use, you really need something beyond pH paper, but for snorting, I am sure pH paper would be good enough. I haven't done this before but it is a good idea for sure.
