Misc Mephedrone wtf?

Someone i know told me about this story and i just thought id ask about it for him.

Ok so he snorted mephedrone one night and said it was great!

He took a night to recover and the next night he decided to try it orally, so he poured some into a little glass of water (he didnt use scales but he said it looked like quite a big dose)

And he said nothing happend!!

No effects what so ever...

Anyone know why this could be?

edit - he also mentioned that when he has taken mephedone orally the same way in the past it worked, but he said it did seem to be more soluble, where as this new stuff kind of didnt dissolve as much

Or it was another drug that works when snorted but has a horrible oral BA. We really can't help you much though, but it was actually active when snorted and not at all when taken orally it must be some active drug...

bunk means fake one up. Like something sold as a drug that's inactive.

it never really woked for me when using it orally, some drugs are meant for snorting, some for smoking etc

He could have had a tolerance going.
Or it could depend on how much he took. Did he take as much as he used to snort? Because he would have needed to take more than that for an oral dose.
There's a lot of different factors I suppose.

He didn't even weigh how much he ate. You can't visually estimate a dose of mephedrone. He probably only ate half a dose.

Bunk meaning it wasn't really mephedrone.

Why would it not work if taken orally, also what does BA mean?

BA means bio-availability - the amount of drugs that is absorbed and used by the body for any given route of admin (for example oral). Usually listed in a %.
