Mephedrone vs Methylone

After doing a bit of reading on erowid about Methylone (bk-MDMA), it's effects, as well as duration seem similar to that of Mephedrone (4-methymethcathinone).
But never having tried methylone, i was hoping some people could make some pros and cons, and comparisons of methylone to mephedrone...

Any input would be wonderfully appreciated!

Maybe this will be a suitable replacement for mephedrone? Then again, i'm just looking at duration, and overall effects from erowid with Methylone. Also, nobody snorts the stuff?
 
mephedrone for sure, i miss it :D, anyway there are a lot of threads with this name, just search!
anyway i think they are different methylone is more relaxing high but it's not bad

I've taken both, I only snorted Mephedrone but both bombed and snorted Methylone. Methylone is similar, but isn't nearly as euphoric as Mephedrone. I found methylone a lot more "speedy", less love. Probably the best "legal" replacement you're going to get though. They're pretty similar in length as far as I remember. Methylone is a lot less moreish than mephedrone, I found it quite easy to just stop, but I had quite the bender when I first got Meph.
 
different persons different effect.. for me mephedrone is more speedy and methylone more relaxing..
 
Mephedrone is so relaxing to me, i can sit in the same spot for hours railing lines...
So i imagine i'll like Methylone, except what Dreamatone said, not as euphoric, that's problematic. There's always a "sweet spot" i aim for every time i do a line of mephedrone... otherwise i'm just not satisified. And, yes, that line grows every time. Eventually turns into parachuting and railing.

EDIT:
What i'm really looking for is an alternative to mephedrone that has (near) same euphoric effects but lasting substantially longer. Some may recommend old fashioned MDMA, but that stuff just makes me feel... way too out of control of my behavior around people.

i suggest you 4-fa, fluoroamphetamine..similar to mephedrone.. but anyway this is not a good period for the rc scene..someone says in trip reports m-butylone, i would want to try it..but who knows..

Tolerance building up or your stuff just getting weaker. If you want that first time Meph buzz I would give Jolly Green Granules a bash.

Even back when i was ordering 'drone last summer (that stuff was probably 15% more pure) it made me like that. I just feel so good i don't want to do anything but sit there and feel good. After initial high wore off the somewhat speediness kicked in, but it wasn't that strong a "tweak"...

on-topic: So no other qualitative comments on how methylone stacks up against mephedrone?

Yea thats how it seems to work. If you don't use it much and the stuff is nice and pure you'll feel pretty much unable to do anything for about 30 mins. buzz wears off slightly and then you get the speediness. First time I tried it, we parked up before taking the dogs a walk, took around 4 really small lines, I mean tiny fuckers. It hit me like a kick to the head, amazing buzz, I turned to my friend and said, fuck I can't drive. Took 30 mins before the major buzz wore off, then we walked the fuck out the dogs lol
 
Methylone and mephedrone are vastly different for one major reason....methylone only allows one maybe two redoses tops. The main reason Mephedrone is so amazing is because you can keep redosing all night/day long. If methylone would allow for more effective redoses I wouldn't even bother with drone because the peak of methylone is my second favorite of all time(next to MDMA).

I've actually heard from more people that methylone is more euphoric then mephedrone.

I've done both plenty of times and both different batches/puritys.
Last time tho I had 1g of methylone and mephedrone and they didn't have any labels on them so I figured the 'powder' was mephedrone.
Found out I was wrong though so I was snorting mehtylone and bombing the mephedrone.

They are too close together in effects for me to even tell a difference.

Pretty sure its like this though..
Meph - More speedy, more fiendish, can snort
methylone - more relaxed, tad more euphoric, redoses only work if it's within 1 and half hours of first dose, cannot insufflate.
 
Yea, real chemical smell you can't miss. Never took Methylone, is there an OD factor you have to consider with it? Whats the reason for no re-dosing?
 
^^For many people any redose taken 2 hours or more after the initial dose proves to be useless. The only way I can get 2 great peaks from methylone is to bomb the second dose right after the first one peaks. Others are able to get many peaks so who knows!

Me too.

I prefer Mephedrone because it's more euphoric and you can redose and redose and redose. With Methylone, anymore than two redoses turns me into a stimulated dysphoric mess.
 
I'm obtaining some Methylone and Mephedrone. Going to write a cross trip-report on the two.
