Mephedrone Visuals?

I was just wondering if anybody else here experiences visuals on Mephedrone? I always get warping, waving, slight color changing, things will expand and contract, looking far away, then up close - anybody else get these types of visuals? they are almost mushroom like in nature when I get them.
 
I've had golden outlining around things, bending, and definitely that close up and back effect before.
 
depends on what you mean by extended use - ive been doing it since 8pm tonight, only done about 3-400mg, but it usually starts after the 1st or 2nd lines - and before this I havent touched it in almost 3 weeks.
 
It really depends per person but I would say 500mgs+ would be considered extended usage and depending on your psychy--in psychosis territory. Which would contribute to the visuals and altered mental state.

interesting, ill keep that in mind. I mean I feel fine. I would think psychosis would have more going on than just some visuals. I dont have any of those other symptoms listed. oh well, im done for the night anyway, parked out at 682mg. got another 800+ something mg left, but ill probably save it for a couple weeks from now.

just out of curiosity, how much were you doing and when did it happen? were you on binges, or was it after the 1st or 2nd dose of 50mg or so that the visuals started?

I took a bike ride to the store after my 3rd bump(approx. 150mg total), effects where starting to come on, its pitch black down most of the back streets because the city is broke, and has turned off 99% of street likes on back roads that arent heavily trafficked - so in the pitch black, from way down the street, all I could see was the light coming from on of the main street lights way up the road (little less a 1/5th of a mile I'd say) and it was almost like some shit in a dream/nightmare, I was obviously moving forward, but the light up ahead just kept pushing further back out and going more and more into the distance. It was actually really fucking cool and caused a fit of laughter. 8o lol

I've used Mephedrone many, many times in the past 30 or so months and have never gotten "visuals" until I've been awake for 48+ hours but I attribute those to sleep deprivation and - occasionally - stimulant psychosis.

It sounds to me that it may be cut with an actual psychedelic? Personally, I consider Mephedrone to be a straight (and my favourite) euphoric-empathic stimulant but others' definitions may vary.

this is kind of what I was wondering, I mean they arent STRONG visuals, more like distortions, although I have had patterns kind of swim like a mushroom visual.
 
After getting through 3 grams in 12 hours or so, me and a friend experienced very strong hallucinations. Clouds turning into all kinds of shapes and faces and stuff, when it was night the stars flying all over the sky and also seeing people walking about and then disappearing into thin air. People I have spoken too have experienced this after extended use too, it's quite common

Yes, this. They aren't strong at all. But if you're sort of out there from lots of years of psychedelic use you may be able to see some shifts in visual perception. Even comparing them to mushrooms may be an overstatement, but I know what you mean.
And my experiences that I'm referring to happened only after the 2nd or 3rd line. Not into a binge or anything. 200-300mgs. The psychosis visuals I've gotten in the past from Mephedrone, after lots continuous dosing I equate to something totally different. Those are the visuals I had brought onto myself by abusing the drug, staying up, not eating, all that jazz. But the weird little shifts at the beginning of the high were definitely real and not a sign of cut. I just think it may be like that for people with a little bit of HPPD or the people who look for weird things in their vision.

Hm, good to know someone else gets the same effects at regular/small doses and I agree that using mushrooms is an example is a bit overstated. I didnt mean in terms of intensity (although some of them have been pretty intense for me) as much as in terms of character, waviness, swimming/crawling/spinning patterns(like looking at designs on wallpaper or woodgrain, they REALLY start moving for me) and size/space/depth distortions - lol I dont describe trips often and find it hard to put in words, hopefully that makes sense. I was actually going to add, that just like you, these visuals are VERY different from psychosis, or being sleep deprived and strung out. these feel like legitimate psychedelic visuals more than just being strung out, and there also arent any other symptoms of stimulant psychosis present.
 
mephedrone used to give me weird visuals in binges, like I could somehow see space displaced around objects, and energy moving in the air around the room. I've never experienced full blown stim psychosis real hallucinations though, like I've heard some of my friends describe. example being one of the meph suppliers who did huge lines saw a fox jump out of a ditch surrounded by a flurry of snow, which sounds pretty sick!
 
I`ve gotten weird visuals on Mephedrone and Methylone a few times. Once,me and a buddy of mine were doing methylone with a bit of meph mixed in(i`d say a half gram of meph mixed into 2 grams of methylone). We started around 8pm,doing 100mg bombs whenever we felt it wear off. By 1am we were sitting in the living room listening to music and talking. I noticed(with a mix of alarm and amusement)that every time I blinked my friend would change from his normal self to a red faced,green eyed demon/devil looking creature. I`d blink and he would change back to his normal white guy self.

I don`t think I have ever had a hallucination like that from any other drug. It was ridiculous. Shortly after that I excused myself and went to bed.

The last time I did methylone,I was with my GF. We had just made our last buy before the USA ban. We stayed up watching Human Centipede. After 2 or 3 hours I noticed that it would randomly look like she was wearing black horn rimmed glass. Which is odd seeing as how she doesn`t wear glasses at all. I told her what I was seeing and she became concerned,so we stopped for the night.

In the 5 years I was doing methylone/mephedrone I never had visuals till the end of my usage.

I don`t consider mephedrone or methylone to be a psychedelic either. I am surprised tho that stimulant psychosis can be reached in 2 to 4 hours after a full nights rest and a healthy meal.

When I had these experiences I had a full 8 hours of sleep for 5 days in a row and been eating normally. These 2 times both happened on Friday nights.

I`m not saying your wrong. I`m just really surprised psychosis can happen so fast.
 
Stimulant psychosis has been known to happen sooner and sooner each time. The amount of sleep a user gets along with their past drug experience makes it vary drastically.

If the OP has had several past experiences I wouldn't be suprised that Mephedrone could cause signs of psychosis to show that early on.
 
Of course mephedrone is not a psychedelic drug, but that doesn't mean it can't give people visuals.

I only remember significant visuals from mephedrone on one occasion, and I was probably also stoned, but anyway the visuals were very animated and colorful indeed. I had only taken a single dose (and a moderate dose at that) of mephedrone.

People get visuals from MDMA and of course MDA and I think it would be incorrect to classify those as any more of a psychedelic drug than mephedrone.
 
What effect does weed have on you?

I don't like to say weed gives me visuals, but it causes a slight change in the way I visually perceive things. For me, sorta how staring at a wall while stoned is nothing out of the ordinary, but while sober I would not do that. I've gotten slight disturbances which remind me of what people describe as HPPD. I only noticed this with weed after my psychedelic use.

I've noticed that while on extended release XR adderall (I believe its actually a different drug) these visual disturbances increase. I get to the point where I understand what stimulant psychosis is like, and know if I did anymore it would soon happen to me.

I thought Meph was supposed to cause visuals anyway? I read MDMA is supposed to give you trails but it's never happened to me in the couple times I tried it.
